Love it!!!
that swing was so smooth
So smooth!!
Nice looking stuff! I just got some red maple from my tree service this week👍👍
Nice!! I enjoy red maple as a firewood however it does pop quite a bit. Does yours?
@@Raymerwood not sure I need to cut and split mine yet.
W😃W You Da Man😃
You're one of the last "stackers" left out there. The rest of us are just throwing our wood into bins like animals.
I built a bin with pallets and started throwing bark less oak in there to see how well it dries if it’s not stacked. Looking forward to the results.
Some good looking firewood!👍👍
Thank you!
Can you do a review video of your likes and dislike of the 17 rs, and any thoughts on the 22rs
I certainly will! I haven’t tried the 22RS so I can’t speak for it
Nice!👍👍
OMG! I can almost smell it!
I’m glad you survived!😂👍👍
Me too! 😂
Pretty stuff!
Beautiful! That's prime stove wood right there.
Thank you!
Yes, if you pile it up it will theoretically dry faster than stacking because of better air circulation. Some in the middle of the pile won't get as much air flow though. If all your sap wood is rotting, it's been dead a while and should be well on the way to drying. Great looking firewood you have.
I’m looking forward to seeing the results without the bark being on any of the wood. Sounds like you have experience with this?
@@Raymerwood I'm 75 and it seems I've been making firewood my whole life but just for personal use. If I lived close, I'd just buy it from you. Nice and clean! You should be proud.
@@stevet8121 that’s very kind of you! Thank you!
It will be interesting to know how that will dry! Yikes snake!!👍👍
I saw your video about not stacking also. I’m going to try and build a large bin of pallets like Chris (In The Woodyard) and see if it will dry. I’m hoping you have success with yours also. It sure would save a lot of time.
White oak smells great!👍👍
Yes!! I think it’s my favorite. What’s yours?
@@Raymerwood toss up between white oak and cherry
There’s a reason for that guard Jr …. Be careful 😳
Thx Mom 😘
tuff intro 🔥
You got to be a little crazy 😂
I know!! 😂
Naughty wood ;)
Dries out nice and quick that size. Do you sell as bundle wood...?
Yes I sell as bundle wood.
Nice!👍👍
Thanks Jeremiah
Nice piles of kindling but I suggest some type of vertical upright supports on the sides so they dont tip over. I like wood stoves in houses & shops.
Thank you and I agree about the vertical supports
Are you selling the kindling? How big are your bundles?
Yes I sell pine, hardwood & cedar kindling bundles. I have small bundles (6” tall x 12” wide) and large bundles (12” tall x 12” wide) of kindling.
@@Raymerwood there are so many things that you can specialize in.
@@adirondackwoodsman yes! Since I don’t have a huge inventory of firewood I don’t mind making tiny firewood and kindling. I only sell a half dozen or so face cord’s (1/3 cord)per year and the rest are bundles of mixed hardwood, kindling, fire starter (Fatwood), and boxes of tiny firewood.
Great looking stacks!👍👍
Thank you!!!
Dub Upload
Beautiful looking stuff Dave! Awesome stacking job👍👍
Thank you! Do you make tiny wood?
@@Raymerwood not yet but I plan on it
I’d be worried about hitting my fingers 😂
Yes!!!
Can't hear ya.
Autumn here in Australia....I will be doing all the cutting and splitting next week. Same thing you're doing in the vid. How is the back after all that?
Well hello there! Back is fine since the machine is doing most of the work. It takes me about 30 mins to make kindling out of just one of the large rounds. Lots of work!

crazy score! wow.
Just found your channel. Nice splitter. I just got an Eastonmade in November and I love it. Also just sub’d
I wanted an Eastonmade originally but Inwas going to have to wait too long and I had lots of big rounds that I needed to split asap (red oak). Eastonmade’s look awesome and super fast. Thx for subscribing!
@@Raymerwood I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the commercial splitters. Wolfe Ridge makes a good product as well. I got to use the conveyor for the first time today as well. Video coming this week.
@@adirondackwoodsman looking forward to seeing that. Conveyer is definitely on my wish list.
nice machine-level her up and drop the rear leg so its more stable....no? you have great stacking skills-wish i had the patience for it
That’s a good idea maybe I’ll try that. For some reason I like to do super tedious work like at king and making tiny pieces of firewood. Thx for commenting!
enjoy watching from In The woods with the capone’s
Awesome! I’ll check out your channel. Thx for commenting
I've never heard of a husky, but I'll tell you one thing. I got a older Two sixty eight xp wont say the brand because they dont suport me at all,so no plug for the orange, but if you know saws, and 268xp,you know
I’ve heard of that saw, nice! Thank you for commenting!
17rs looks like a sweet machine! Thinking of grabbing one next season!
It’s perfect for me since I always work by myself hence why I got the auto cycle. The Eastonmade Ultra is a little faster if you’re looking for serious production. I just do it as a hobby and for Christmas $. Thank you for watching/commenting!
@@Raymerwood yeah I usually work by myself a lot. My 5 year olds helps for a little bit then gets sidetracked 🤣. Not sure if I want the auto cycle or log lift!
Some good looking poles... you getting those from arborist or a logger? I would use a smaller bar if I was cutting those logs (minus of those huge boys - I would put those on a mill).
I’m getting then from a residential tree service friend of mine who always has wood for me. Maybe one day I’ll get a mill but I don’t the $ to invest in one yet. There’s a beautiful 14” straight Hickory log that I’ll be bucking up soon. I feel bad for making firewood out of such a nice log but I don’t have the means yet to make lumber out of it. Thank you for watching/commenting!
phew the cameraman didnt switch on the chain saw
😅 I didn’t even realize I was doing it until later. Dumb
Drags to high
I love the smell of white oak!👍👍
This video made my balls undrop 😬
Wow!
C O C absolutely perfect I love to see the world through blood shot eyes.
buetiful
insane
Life’s a beech! One wood I have yet to split myself👍👍
It’s pretty tough to hand split but my splitter had no problem with it.
Does that make a good smoking wood? I've never heard anyone Talk about it for smoking before and we don't have any here.
I have yet to smoke with it since I don’t have a smoker however it is used quite a bit around here for meat.
hi there nice splitting john
Thank you John
I would have a roaring fire while all your little sticks are still lighting
