Great movie just like "Murder on the Orient Express" and also an all star cast!
Thanks for the nice words!
I was just looking at the opening credits and thinking to myself... that's a bit excessive isn't it?
Yeah, but where are the pearls? 🤔
Lots of great actors in this spectacular film. Thanks for posting it!

A 2003 film
Every one knows Perter Falls, but don't belittle Aaron Meeks. He was a terrific actor and worthy of applause.too.

I'm sentimental. Im happy Rhett and Scarlett reunited , had another child and they both changed for the better❤😂
Sean Bean plays evil so well!
She needed them kids just as much as them kids needed her. Great movie.
All stellar stars
Under the right paw of the Great sphinx is the hall of records Edgar Cayce talked about. About the history of Atlantis.
This scene with the Great pyramid even today there is so much we still don't about history that were finding everyday in archaeology.
Nope. Only one Perot and his name is David Suchet.
Ustinov brought his stamp to the role for sure. He made him very funny and very sweet.
❤❤❤ I love story
51:30: Mia Farrow. Great Spoiler!
Oh! And a VERY nice print interrupted EVERY five minutes by we-know-whats, do we not? DOWNLOAD IT ! Then of "we know whats" we'll be free-free-free !! Yes, FREE of pesky, grabby commercial cheeky affront !! This superb movie and we, deserve of that way-better.
All-star cast? As no other! My Hercule Poirot? Only one exists really -- Ustinov's. No humorless hard edginess there, just polished erudition and sophistication loudly lacking within his would-be imitators. Only one single thing was lacking tho > NO STEREOPHONIC SOUND < for the otherwise excellent soundtrack -- only mono! How COULD they have omitted this essential? Nino Rota seems to have taken credit fully for his scoring a part of which I think he should not have. I'll leave it at-that for the moment, resisting successfully the severe temptation toward specificity. In the meantime, others might puzzle this out as to my meaning? No matter really re the technical omission -- all the rest comes together and proceeds through to perfection. Agatha Christie herself described investigative character Poirot in early 1930 thusly, here as according to Wikipedia . . . "By 1930, Agatha Christie found Poirot "insufferable", and by 1960 she felt that he was a "detestable, bombastic, tiresome, ego-centric little creep". Check! Accordingly, to this Finney (one time) and Suchet (forever-on) proved as perfection itself. Utterly. Much later as compliments same-source " Christie's daughter Rosalind Hicks observed Ustinov during a rehearsal and said, ' That's not Poirot! He isn't at all like that! ' Ustinov overheard and remarked ' He is now! ' " An excellent rejoinder of Mr. Ustinov's, to which I'd have added if having been there to "And thank GOD for it!!" And shall here for underscoring that obvious -- and thank GOD for it! The Finney and Suchet additions do their jobs JUST as author Christie intended and wrote of but, Mr. Ustinov created a Belgian sleuth that is far the more humanly palatable for repetition than his two lessers. Upon investigation we find that, popular votes as sampled from among the non-Christie cognoscenti (i.e. those as not yet pickled postjudicially), serve as backup pro- the assertion quite nicely.
"I must get christened at once!" 😂
bette Davis so fabulous
Randomly ended up here and i’m glad i did! Anne Bancroft is amazing as usual! I liked it a lot!!
So, the Dad lets the daughter slap his wife around...... wtf
I read in Wikipedia that Joss Ackland's family home was destroyed by fire, so that could be why the movie's dream sequence included a fire. How terrifying to lose one's home that way.
What a wonderful movie!
Thanks for the nice words!
Anne Bancroft, Helen Mirren and Brian Dennehy were great but Olivier Martinez can hardly act and his kevin costner voice does not help either.
💙🔥💙
Most of this movie takes place in my town. Yazoo City Ms.

It's been years since I've seen that wine-tasting ritual at dinner in any restaurant, even fine ones. I'd totally forgotten about it.
Your volume is too low! I raised it as high as I could on my laptop and here, but I can barely hear what they are saying.
"One Special Night" with Julie Andrews and James Garner is a very good movie about older people falling in love. It came out a few years after this one. Third movie that Julie and James made together. Their chemistry is still as natural as it was when they were young then middle-aged in the first two movies. "One Special Night" is less awkward than "Daisies in December", maybe for that reason.

I've seen this and the Rosalind Russel versions before, and only just now for the first time did it occur to me just how much of a narcissist Mama Rose is. It's like a textbook example. If this is actually anywhere near close to a "true story", she must have been an absolute nightmare as a mother. The character in the play/movie uses everyone around her until they wise up and flee her - and she never learns the lesson. She even asks Herbie why everyone winds up leaving her - only to conclude she's not the problem. Even at the end where she for a moment is so close to breaking through, Gypsy steps in to enable her delusions. I realize that's for the story - a "I realize I'm a selfish monster and I've destroyed my life and harmed everyone around me" wouldn't be a very snappy ending for a musical. It's kind of shocking when you step back and realize the actual story here is an abusive, narcissistic "devouring mother" who sacrifices everything - and everyone - to herself.
Hercules Porridge! Great cast
"BELGIAN sleut Madame, BELGIAN!"
Thanks for posting this - I hadn't seen it in decades! Delightful.
what a treasure~ Christopher Plummer played the role fabulously
What an amazing cast!
Timothy Dalton is a great actor in this film.
I must say. My family has Missouri Fox Trotters We breed them train them sell them and make quite a dab of money of them. Fos Trotter aren't a running breed, especially fox hunting and Kentucky Derby race house. They, Fox Trotters, have a specific Trott and a Gauter for competition So why do they keep refererring to a Fox Trotter breed, is misleading info. Completely false. as a fox hunting breed or Kentucky Derby?? Other than that, I'm loving this mini series Quarter Horses are a fast running breed but entirety too heavy stock for racing in the Kentucky Derby, I believe theyre actually Tennessee Walkers, in the Kentucky Derby and Fox Hunting horses.
