I was into ACIM for a while. I found that it had a brainwashing effect on me. After I gained the willingness to question the course, my higher self let me know in various ways that the course is misleading. The course claims that God had nothing to do with creating this World and the rest of the universe. It claims that the sonship created the universe as an attack on God. It claims that God isn't even aware of this universe; yet, it claims that God sent the holy spirit to help us. "Why would God send the holy spirit to a world he wasn't even aware of?"...that's a good question to ask. ACIM claims that this world serves no purpose, it is just an illusion. It has become clear to me that this is not true. Life in this world provides our Souls with a way to learn. ACIM claims that God's nature can never change. This isn't so. God has the awareness, creative and mind aspects of being, and he is free to change what he manifests with the creative aspect of his being as much as he wants, regardless of what ACIM claims. At times the course speaks of spiritual growth in too much of an all or nothing approach. Either the atonement takes place, or no growth is obtained. This isn't true. Even baby steps are possible with spiritual growth. I could say more, but perhaps the above is enough.

as I watch this video, the feelings that arise in me, overwhelm me. there's nothing in my whole life that I ache for more, than true love and real friends, and I'm 42 years old now, and never ever in my whole entire life have I had either. from the depths of my soul, I wail out in despair at the agony and injustice and pain of this. I die in loneliness and in grief and in rage and in shame...

I refuse to listen to ads. I was born in 1957. I grew up with tv commercials. I have had quite enough. I will not listen to any more commercials. I will now block this channel.

How about some giant miracles to better animals abused by man, those in the food chain, those hunted, those used in laboratories, those used in entertainment, domestic animals abused by their owners, puppy mill dogs, circus animals those used in fur and vile trade, those bred to fight, roadside zoos, they are still waiting for a miracle. It seems the only way they will be saved is when man, the cruelest ugliest species on Earth disappears or has an epithamy. Which one comes first?
