And that’s why I record in 4k even though CZcams still shows some of my videos in 720p 🤨 you can select settings while in a video and choose advanced then select a higher quality. But yeah thanks for confirming 🤭

@genod.198 James (1 Stroke Giggler) and Larry finally convinced me to start playing one pocket last year, it’s some of my first videos on here so yeah I’ve got a lot to learn considering I’ve spent the last 11 years not playing pool up until I joined the Senior Center. I started shooting pool at the age of 21 and stopped at 30 had some young’ins and I’m 42 now. I continue to improve each week thanks to comments on here and the fellas I shoot with. I will be The Best One Pocket player that’s just the competitive side of me. This past week I’ve been working 12 hours a day so haven’t had the chance to make any videos but I have been watch the pros play and realize I’m playing the game all wrong I sell out and miss easy shots too often. With all that being said I’m not bragging just figured I share a little bit of me 🤓

I’ve seen you improve dramatically over the course of the videos,I think you’re doing great,one pocket is definitely a challenging game but IMO the best game hands down. I’m in my 40s as well,same thing,kids family,had to stop playing,I’ve picked it back up within the last few yrs.

Johnson City, Tn at the Senior Citizens Center. Tables are 9ft and in decent shape but they are putting in 4 new tables soon 😬

9ft is my favorite, never shoot on 9ft until joining the senior center, October will be my second year

Exactly, I did notice on the bar tables it didn’t require much of a stroke as the 9ft does

@@mikeblackburn2849 - True! It's a shame that 9 ball is so dominant and labeled as the "best game". My 9 ball rated skill level is much higher for 9 ball, than 8 ball, but I love 8 ball, 1 pocket, and straight pool more. 9 ball requires little thinking, except making the ball and thinking 2 shots ahead. With the other 3 games, the roadmap is not laid out for you and requires more strategy and planning.

I can’t stand Nine Ball or a Jump Cue, I’m just old and set in my ways lol

Game is Alabama Eight Ball. Aka 1&15. One Ball goes in Left Side Pocket, Fifteen Ball goes in Right Side Pocket. You can make them in any pocket other than the designated pocket but requires the ball to be spotted afterwards and the shooter continues to play until no shot made

Absolutely, yeah thanks for watching. The tables are old and worn out so it’s hard to get a solid rack is why the dry breaks. New tables are coming soon tho 👍 Will work on some Bank Pool, never played it but I ain’t scared 🤭
