I'm enjoying this style of quilting also. I have a question that I haven't found the answer to after watching multiple videos is, do the stitches have to line up one above the other? Or is it just to keep the stitches consistent and the spacing of the rows consistent the idea?

Yours, I think turned out beautiful! The top of the hat that you’re concerned about may come out if you aggressively block it. I would not worry about it. If you’re going to put it on the inside hat you’ll never notice. I think it’s lovely. Your wrap, wow it’s gorgeous. I love the color choices. I have been working with a lot of peaches and browns lately myself. They are my soothing colors. Thank you so much for podcasting.
