Fire Alarm Test - Fire Lite MS-5210UD - Panel Didn't Trip During Fire - Will it Work?
This is a setup, programming, and test of a Fire Lite MS-5210UD fire alarm panel that was involved in a fire and supposedly didn't trip. I don't have many more details than that - it was sitting on a shelf in 2013 when I started at the company I worked at, and I was told that it was being kept for insurance reason because it didn't trip during an actual fire at the building it was protecting. I have no more information other than that - my old company was bought out and is long gone along with all of it's records. In this video I wire it up , program it, and test it - watch and see what happens!

Follow up to the test of this system - there was a horn/strobe not working. Turns out it was wired backwards but still passing supervision through so no troubles were thrown. This place recently completed a nearly two-year renovation and many, many hands were in this system, so this kind of stuff wasn't really a surprise. Enjoy!

What are the Gentex devices on the far left and right? They look like possible rebranded Wheelock horn with the GXS strobes to me.
That fire alarm sounds weird
Interesting how there are a few mismatched alarm devices in here with that SpectrAlert and the EST alarm. The fine arts building at my college has almost entirely FCI mechanical horns (actually rebranded Faraday 6120s) but one device is a ceiling mount EST Genesis horn strobe.
