moonberry was fun because you can get very consistent pretty easily at the final room and the moonberry room is at the perfect difficulty where you keep getting a bit further with each attempt golden berry was meant for the gods of celeste only. I would be shocked to see anyone who doesn't have at least a thousand hours in the game get it

I actually found a use for Dreamshield! In radient Sisters of battle and Mantis lords, Using Dreamshield is a good idea as when they do they annoying slow wind blades attack which can be hard to dodge. Dreamshield is good for this, as it destroys those wind blades and can save you a lot of deaths in the radient version. At least, it helped me.

Does anyone have any recommendations for charm setups. I'm trying to do pantheon 3 be warned, I do not have the last grub charm. You know, like the one that you get for saving all the little grubs. I don't have that, and I also don't have king soul. But I have every other charm.

Personally, from the perspective of someone trying to get golden berries, I'd rank chapter 6 lower, due to it being home to two of the least consistent mechanics in the game. Golden feathers are quite difficult to precisely control, and bumpers are extremely sensitive to sub-pixel position changes even without them drifting from side to side. Having said that though, these mechanics do fit into the story quite well, and the Badeline bossfight is both an extremely strong part of the story and a well-balanced and fun part of the gameplay.

Chapter 2C is much more fun than Chapter 1C tbh, and since dream blocks are from Chapter 2, and are the funnest mechanic overall, it should be credited to Chapter 2 imo

As someone who plays FromSoftware games, I really enjoyed celeste, it was just as rewarding

Chapter 3: F tier Chapter 5: C- tbh

ahhhh.... I couldn't restrain myself and watched this even though I haven't beaten every boss... I knew winged nosk existed as a concept, didn't know you find them in the pantheons as a hornet Juke...

Dung defender is my favorite because you have all these super hard bosses but he is just super easy to beat.

I love how certain combos can work together really well in certain situations. For radiant fights, I usually use quickslash and mark of pride with grubberfly and weaversong. The first 2 buff grubberfly and weavers are for extra damage when they're doing spam attacks where I need to focus on dodging.

With more than 150h of Celeste on my record, I mostly agree with the playements of the chapters, but I strongly disagree with chapter 6. In my opinion the golden feather is by far the worst gameplay mechanic in the game, and 9c is top 3 if not the single most difficult stage of the game.

I usually don’t like rhythm blocks… but this level… ohh boy this was so much fun. One of the only advanced+ puzzle maps I found to actually be fun to figure out. Most of the time it’s just ridiculously weird solutions that are completely unintuitive for the sole purpose of being unintuitive

Id say on the first playthrough fragile/unbreakable strenght is F tier. It makes the playthrough less fun, accidently killing a boss too quick and feeling like you missed out on it is one of the worst feelings in the first playthrough

Personally, my top 3 is: 1. Summit 2. Farewell 3. Site Site just had such fun mechanics for the second chapter in the game, and was amazing to play. All three sides are some of the easiest, even easier than chapter 1, and the music is great. Not to mention, it kickstarted the whole story, after chapter 1's tutorial gameplay. You ranked summit and farewell this high too, so I don't feel the need to explain, but I preferred Summit's gameplay just because Farewell was long and hard. Both were so fun.

its important to mention that strength is worse than quickslash. They improve dps by the same amount, but you get more soul from quickslash

I think the charms that increase range should not be so high. They dont actually make the player any more effective in 90% of scenarios, they just make it easier to get hits, but if you just learn to land your hits with the short nail then they are useless. When comparing longnail/mark of pride to the rest of the charms which actually improve your possible damage output, they are just bad.

Synapse definitely a very deceptively difficult map, where it doesn't look that bad until you play it. At least it's not hard in an annoying way; the rooms are really fun and the ost is a banger

Dashmaster is the best charm in the game, I won't hear any debate on the subject and I distrust anyone who says otherwise.

My ranking: 1. Farewell It’s just amazing, great challenge, super fun 2. Reflections Kevin block go zoom 3. Summit An almost perfect level, B/C-side is peak Celeste gameplay 4. Celestial resort I have stalkhome syndrome from the goldens 5. Mirror temple B-side is just perfect 6. Dream block level (I forgot the name) Dream hypers go zoom 7. Golden ridge Wind sucks, everything else is cool 8. Ch1 (forgot the name again) B-side sucks, C-side is really meh 9. Core I hate this level, the cycles suck and they are much less forgiving than Ch3, also this level has the worst golden experience I love every level in this game (except core) so this is just personal preference

I recently did my first randomizer, and I got Dreamshield for 1 notch, and fought the Mantis Lords with it. The amount of damage it saved me from their projectiles is insane lol. Too bad it sucks in vanilla
