Actually the pentel oil pastels are really good, but have a petrol scent to them and they might not be lightfast.

You can also use clay shapers to extend the oil pastels to those edge lines and to blend as well

Hi there. Love your pages. Your backgrounds, especially. I’m curious when you say you base with alcohol marker, such as for example, the brothers Grim book which is when I’m working on, which alcohol markers are you using? Also, do you do just a flat solid color with alcohol marker for each area such as the dress, tree, etc., or do you blend different shades of alcohol marker in one area as you base it, as if you weren’t even going to use pencil, and then still do pencil over it with the coordinating color?

😄 God I am so old. I love how you reinforce the seam of the page with confidence lol. I was not raised with these new supplies. I grabbed a few coloring books and have flipped through them, even did a few parts of a page, but never even thought to do that. Raised with not wanting to destroy the backing of books in general (and we HAD no Adult coloring books back then), I wish! I'd just have fun with my kids coloring books and crayons 😝. Gel pens also new, if not for my kids-I wouldn't know about them at all lol, before I got MS, I was working 65-70hrs/week. No time for much of ANYthing back then. I am going to enjoy binge watching your channel so much, there ARE no words, except thank YOU! 😊💜👍

Great job! I love your colorings! In order to protect the bleeding through your pages is to put two layers of Mod Podge matte in spray! Do what ever you’re using watercolor or alcohol markers backside will stay intact! From Quebec in Canada 🇨🇦

I also love seeing which books you color in, as there are almost always a few new books I’ve never seen that end up on my wish list. And I love learning about using different media in my coloring books. You’re such an inspiration, not just with your coloring, but your positive attitude. Also wanted to ask if you saw that there was a new version of the Japanese Traveling Through book that came out!?!? I think Coloring with K did a video on it a couple days ago. I just so happened to be doing an Amazon Japan order, and added that to my cart, for sure. I’m so excited to get it. Can I ask, you mention using fine liners in the Japanese book. Which fine liners are your go to? I need to invest in some for my books with tiny details. 🥰🥰
