This channel wants to empower quilters to be creative, provide basic block case studies then information on how to elevated a block to something special. I'll try to explain how to play with color and different shapes and suggest ways to help you pick a color palette. I have lots of ideas on what to do with your scraps, strings and crumbs! I'm also going to introduce you to other quilting and sewing channels on You tube and other media platforms. I love making quilts, spending my days covered in thread bits and teaching quilting.

Dark
Cut 24 - 4.5 inch squares
Med
Cut 48 - 4.5 inch squares
Some strips of 2.5 inch wide scraps for the 4 Patches and Rails units
Light
Cut 28 - 4.5 inch squares
Some strips of 2.5 inch wide scraps for the 4 Patches and Rails units
Make 32 HST's units that are trimmed to measure 4.5 inches once sewn.
Cut 16 in both low volume and med blue - 5.0 inch squares

24:19 Brenda. I am trying to add blocks to quilt ..but those that are already done are 16 1/2" sq. Can't seem to wrap my head around increasing sizes easily to this sz... Help.
Hi Sandra! You would need block that are 4.5 inch unfinished to add to a 12.5 inch unfinished block to make a 16.5 inch unfinished block. Does that help? Thanks for your kindness and support!
