Drive 200 miles a day for a week and compare both bikes. You will have the Yamaha back. You missed about half of the best characteristics of the Guzzi and why it does cost slightly more for the base model, and a bit more for the upgraded model. Like most bikes you can't add stuff on like the S model of the Guzzi, you buy it that way. And you won't be able to upgrade the Yamaha easily to match even the base model of the Guzzi. But lets say one thing you definitely missed. The Guzzi has soul. The Yamaha is an excellent bike, I like Yamaha's and have a few including an FJ1200, but they are still just a UJP.

It’s not really competing with the t7 but filling a void in the class. Honda sacrificed ground clearance for a much lighter feeling, flickable and overall agile bike.

Where I’m from the Transalp is 5k$ less than the tenere so I bought one, if prices were the same I would go with the more off-road capable one

Great video! I'm now trying to choose from these two. I would add that for Quadlock wireless charger doesn't work with the universal adapter, and that SPConnect has a clamp-style universal adapter as well besides the sticking one. Also, Quadlock states that you shouldn't stick their universal adapter to silicon cases (which the most normal cases are) and SPConnect states that they have "achieved good results sticking it to silicone cases".

Also this the first year for the Ducati and i would like to see the comparison once the Ducati has a few years on it, first years usually have bugs to iron out.

Awesome video. I personally got the ev1 because I wanted a city bike. Both these platforms have room to grow. My big issue with the h7 is I believe it should have used a smaller engine maybe the one from the previous ninja 300 and had a bigger EV side and range. The weight of the big is significant. The E1 is 308 pounds vs the h7 at 528! The silent EV mode is just to small of a range. They're both cool but have so much room for improvement.

Just bought a 2023 Rocket 3R last Friday. Hummed and hawed about both… both fascinated me.. but the Rocket spoke to me. The look, the finish, the ride. All subjective of course but, To me the Rocket is an absolute masterpiece. The Diavel is wicked… but not for me. What a great time to be alive when we have these two bikes to choose between!

Too bad Honda is trying to pawn off a very dated 2023 CBR650R here in North America. It's shameful they way they've ditched the middleweight category.

I've owned a 2012 Ninja 1000 SX and I currently own a 2021 Z H2. I can say without a doubt for an everyday bike the 1000 SX can't be beat. Still one of if not my favorite bike I've ever owned and I've had a lot. Been riding since 1992. My Z H2 doesn't have the body work or the radar of the H2 SX but with a ECU tune, exhaust, and air filter, the H2 family is unbeatable for fun. My bike currently has 227 hp at the wheel with 101 ft./lbs of torque. Side note for those interested in the H2 SX there is currently no ECU flash available for the 2022 and newer. So if you want one and wish to tune it you will need to find a 2018-2021 H2 SX.

Tune it, pipe and its a ripper. It'll go 9500 - 10k easy. 150mph if you shut off the limiter. Drop the cat and put a Sawicki Speed pipe or one of the other racer goodies. Add a quick shifters and it would be insane!!

The tread depth looks shallow compared to many competitors appearing to probably lack in off road traction and over all wear.

As a Honda fanboy...I don't knock anyone purchasing the Talp, but I just don't understand what this bikes usage is. It's not a good off road and Honda already has much better commuters. It looks like an ADV bike, but it won't do true ADV trails well.
