You can update test plans while your scripts run. and put that on dashboard. lets say 100 scripts ran which map to 150 cases. So those scripts can update pass/fail in ADO and then you can put that on your dashboard. i will create a video soon on the same. There are 2 videos where i have shown how to update ADO @parulisha

1 Hope you added maven dependency of Allure. Just check if under dependencies you can see the allure 2 created the file under src/resources with name allure. Properties and content as explained in the video allurereport.org/docs/testng/ can be used for reference

allurereport.org/docs/install-for-linux/ below command should be able to update brew install allure below command can help in knowing the version allure --version Latest version is 2.29.0 @user-pm8rh6yb6w

create a new test case and see the network tab, That can help dev.azure.com/orgname/projectname/_apis/testplan/Plans/510030/Suites/600954/TestCase this is the POST url and body looks like below [{"pointAssignments":[],"workItem":{"id":852842}}] this number came from a step before when you click on the add test case. so this way you can create.

​@@Udzial My project is a testing based one and we used to upload testcases from Excel into ado so we are planning to automate the uploading of test case from Excel to ado using api. As of now I have managed to create requirement based test suite using api. But there are no proper examples in azure documentation. Tried uploading a single test case using the url but it seems the request syntax that I used might be wrong. So I'm getting "message: An Internal Error Occurred Type name: system.web.http.httpResponseException" as response

@@chandrashekhar6883 It can help locally and save a lot of time, you can try for other browsers as well. Concept is important to learn, it even works with playwright too It can work in CI environment, you can start the browser programmatically and then selenium will connect to it. We mention localhost which refer to the local system and that IP address remains constants always i.e. 127.0.0.1 The most common use case is to write new scripts and fixing bugs, but it can be tried for other things as well.. like in pipeline. All of what you said is doable but we should try all of that in pipeline if we are stuck with MFA etc problems.

Command would be - git pull origin main When you run this command all the changes from the main branch would come to your local. The name of the branch could be different than main Also there could be some conflicts if some developer have changed same line of code which you can resolve locally thank you @sudhakarveeraraghavan5832

Try checking these things 1) check you are using latest version of selenium 2) make sure you have same java version in pom file and in maven task of yaml file 3) using windows-latest as image in yaml file These 3 things should take care of that problem, let me know if that is not working @user-or9uq9jt8y

You can use command line / powershell steps and run your command which can download and install anything from internet. thank you for commenting. let me know if anything else need to be covered.

@@Udzial Hi Gaurav. The solution is really great. I am able to use it now. The next thing I am trying to improve is to get the PAT at run time using some API or authentication option and revoke the PAT after the execution is over. Do you have any insights on this? How we can achieve this? is there anything similar you have done earlier? Please share if you have anything for this?
