@@EdWeibe yes sir! Everyone loved his jokes & shenanigans!
Thanks for posting this. I'm looking forward to watching this tribute to a really great entertainer 👍😊😊
You're very welcome I've been posting a lot of good videos over the past few years on both of my CZcams channels a lot of people seem to actually like a few of the videos that I post
“Chinese underwear.” I like the girls laughing on the set. (Skip to the 1:46:55 mark.)
@@charleswinokoor6023 best zingers are always given by Paul Lynde no matter what anyone says. Paul is the best zingerizer you could possibly have on any show ever! (And yes I just made a new word "Zingerizer" - a person that makes great zingers for comedy purposes)
We’ve lost one of the good ones. Thank you, Bob.
He was my favorite stammerer I've loved him since say one when he was on Johnny Carson's Tonight Show also I enjoyed watching him in the movie Elf. I also love all of his TV series that aired. Sadly our favorite comedians, actors celebrities from the 1900s are all dying out. :(
Buddy Hackett was never funny and has an annoying laugh.
I don’t know if people remember,he played uncle Arthur in bewitched
@@theshadow100 he was the greatest Uncle you could possibly have on TV.
@@PaulLyndeBlue I watched that series so many times,he felt like a uncle
Paul Lynde did come up with some of his own "Bluff answers" (in other words, sarcastic answers that were often incorrect), but some of the actual bluff answers and zingers were written by the writing staff on Hollywood Squares.
1:06:23 -- Talk about incredible timing! 😁
COMIC GENIUS
Darn right!
*Peter:* _"when is it a good idea to put your pantyhose in the microwave oven for about 2 minutes?"_ *Paul Lynde:* _"when your house is surrounded by the police"_ Brilliant! 😁
@@RoughJustice2k18 🤣 best answer to that question!
Karen was funny in the show room 222
Wally cox was funny in farkels anniversary
And we have Karen to thank for the shot glass, had me laughing so much
His sense of humour was amazing
He was so funny as nervous elk in cactus jack,
He. Was also funny as nervous elk in cactus jack
Peter Marshall is still alive. Maybe because of aĺl the stress reducing laughter from Paul Lynde. Marshall has the biggest most beautiful, toothy smile.
@@dparks3784 Mr Beaver Face is still alive can you believe that he is 98 years old as of March 30th 2024!?
1:37:27 I am in tears 🤣
@@nikkipennington9617 I was too when I heard that 🤣 I say something like that too at work & people laugh because it's plain silly
He was funny in cactus jack as nervous elk 😂😂
Mr lynde was so funny 🤣
It was sad that he died so early, I think it was a heart attack at age 55😢
Yep a heart attack because of alcohol as well as smoking & a few other things that added to the untimely death of our favorite comedian
Both of his parents also died very young.
36:30 “Free the slaves.” Now that’s a memorable and inadvertently funny answer.
@@charleswinokoor6023 darn right! I've been ome of those rams (profile pic character btw) that will be friends with anyone no matter what color, race, gender, lgbt etc if I see someone that happens to be a slave I'll give then a few dollars to make them feel better than how they are treated. (Yes there are people that are slaves still but very rare in the USA as far as I'm aware of)
He was also Mildew Wolf in the cartoon It's the Wolf !!!!
Ah yes a segment of The Cattanooga Cats series.

What I don't understand is that his name doesn't appear in the credits. And he was great as the Hooded Claw.

Love his voice in The Perils of Penelope Pitstop
Same!
My favorite (at 6:15) is the one about the number of men on a hockey team. Both Buddy Hackett and I thought it was hilarious.
He is so funny
I AGREE! He was so funny & silly & entertaining! I watched him on Bewitched and those episodes are the only episodes that I really loved watching. The rest of the episodes were way too repetitive & really annoying.
@@PaulLyndeBlue his voice was great in wacky races and the perils of penelope pitstop
@@theshadow100 omg yes! I agree! Have you watched "It's the Wolf!" It's on internet archive website & there's a lot of silly episodes there.
@@theshadow100 he is Mildew Wolf. He is trying to capture a lamb named Lambsy. Lambsy has a bodyguard/protector named Bristle Hound a sheepdog. Bristle House always saves Lambsy from Mildew.

Paul lynde was the square ever
Paul was the Squarest Square that ever Squared!
wish they would have muted Buddys mike
Same. To be honest I wish they muted him entirely.... Because he wouldn't stop talking if you watch all of the full episodes... Buddy wouldn't shut up.
@@PaulLyndeBlue Paul Lynde once said _"we live in a world that needs laughter and I've decided if I can make people laugh, I'm making a more important contribution."_ That may explain why he was able to make fun of himself or be part of the joke, and gain laughs from his audience at the same time. Lynde had many friends during his lifetime. 😇 Buddy Hackett wasn't funny, just loud. 😖
Timeless truth that still holds up today !!!!!
Heck yeah!
Paul Lynde had incredible fluid intelligence/humor. Totally amazing.
🤗 totally agree! I miss him so much!
You could use AI to resurrect these classic actors. The way they can copy a person's image and voice nowadays, it a wonder someone has done this already!
Too bad these stars are no longer here. I used to watch the Hollywood squares. Great memories with these clips. Thanks for sharing
I think Karen valentine still around🌼
Love Paul Lynde!!! The best comedian!!!! Vicente Price, priceless!!!! I watched this show all the time when I was younger.... ❤❤❤❤..😂😂😂😂😂....
🤗 I'm glad that you love the video!I have 2others if you'd love to watch those we would appreciate it! (Myself & Cathy Rudolph (Paul's friend) & Paul Lynde) 😊 I've been in love with him since I was a young ram named Paul. That was almost 30 years ago. & I still love him to this day no matter how much my coworker says "you know... Someone being gay is not what God wanted.... God created men to be in relationships with ladies & vice versa. So he is not Heaven currently because he decided to be gay... He did a sin and there for he payed by going to Hell." This happens to also be the same co-worker that says that the Earth is flat, we have never gone into space, January 6th riots was a hoax, Osama bin Laden is still alive living somewhere out in the middle of Israel.
The thing about me being a ram was a joke (joke because of my profile pic 🤣)
Thank you so much for posting these clips. I am from the UK and as I child I loved his voice and personality. So wonderful to see him again 😊❤
You're so very welcome! I'm a Paul Lynde fan myself. & I've loved him so much since I was a youngin & I've loved everything that he was in. Even the movie that was a flop called "Rabbit Test " the ratings were so bad but I liked it cuz it was stupid and that he was in there.
@@PaulLyndeBlue Thanks. I've never heard of "Rabbit Test" so I'll look it up. He was just so funny, with that fantastic laugh. I adored "The Perils Of Penelope Pitstop" and "It's The Wolf! It's The Wolf!" His own show was on here as well in the 70s and he was great in "Bewitched." Yet only one friend I've talked with (of my age) seems to remember him and that friend loved him, too. I think Paul Lynde had a difficult life and wish he had been able to know how loved he was...so what you've posted online is there for everybody and that's brilliant.

Grumpy Burt Reynolds want to be there .
That was 1971. His TV detective show "Dan August" was just cancelled. The subsequent appearances on this show saved his career. It was stated in Peter Marshall's book about the show 20+ years ago.

Heck yeah! I love watching him!
Paul Lynde didn't really have to say anything funny.all he had to do was break his sentences in half.i just love the way he talk.
Omg I know right! Literally anything he said would make me laugh my butt off
Listen to Buddy Hacket laugh! I miss those people and those times
Hackett and Lynde hated each other. Hackett was mocking Lynde with the excessive laughter. He believed Lynde's answers were scripted.
@@CitiZENCAT-ie5dtwell we didn't much like Buddy Hackett's laugh either
Not true. They may not have liked each other but Buddy’s laugh was genuine. The combination of the punchlines written for Lynde combined with his excellent delivery of those particular jokes were right up Buddy’s alley and enough to crack him up.
@@charleswinokoor6023 You're wrong. Hackett was taunting Lynde with his way-over-the-top laughter. He was mocking him.
Yes!!! Buddy H's laugh was priceless. TV today doesn't even come close to this.
