Pretty interesting to me... my Dad had a '64 Windsor 4 door with the oval steering wheel and push button trans. As a kid I helped him change the piston rings in the driveway - still smoked anyway, LOL. We pulled a popup trailer to Red Point Beach for our first big family vacation. Years ago, I went to look at a '64 New Yorker 2 door hardtop (one of 300 built for CDN market). Same leather bucket seats & console and half leather top as the 300K shown in your video including the 413 with ram horn manifolds but in NY'er trim. Not many of these in as great shape as the 300K. Thanks for posting the video - it was great to see the 300 and go down memory lane.👍👍

Found Scott's "chick-magnet" motor laying about? It's interesting to think that not so long ago people bought these as an improvement to their working arrangements - seems like almost a sort of ancient history, although it wasn't so long ago (my Grandpa's time) that they were using teams of bullocks to drag things about on farms as a course of usual practice.

There are a few mistakes in the description - This is a Canadian built car. The last year of the US built Saratoga was 1960, not 1962. There was no factory A/C option available on the Canadian models in 1962. Torqueflite was standard equipment on all Canadian production 1962 Chryslers. There was no manual shift available. There was no Saratoga station wagon built, all wagons in 1962 were either the US built Newport or the New Yorker. On the US built 1962 Newport you could get a manual shift but it was a 3 speed on the floor, not on the column. There was no room to install the a shift lever at the top of the column in front of the astra-dome. The 383 was standard equipment on the Saratoga, and the US built Windsor. The 318 was NOT available on any Chrysler model until around 1975 when it was available in the Cordoba. Until then it was a Dodge and Plymouth only engine. The 361 engine was standard on the Canadian WIndsor and the US Newport. :-)

I also own a 1965 impala and black cars had a different trim panel color on the back. i am restoring or shall i say resto modding a 69 440 Cuda S and i will have a black panel on the back because it fits MY LOOK or version of said car just like i will have a manual transmission in it even if the factory did not allow one to be factory installed because of too much power in front of it.
