i got 14. I like listening to music , unfortunately, I can't sing well and play instruments. 🫠 what a sad blob

I'm from a singing family, I got 6 and 12 wrong.

13 out 15. the last question was difficult

Question 12 chord sounds dreamy or contemplative, can relate this feeling to somewhat sadness even though the melody seemed played along seemed lively, it’s a mixed feeling chord actually, can’t really say it’s a happy chord. The chord looks like its longing to be resolved to a major, kind of like a minor third chord or probably a major 7th held over a third on the left, the chord is emitting somewhat sadness in it, it’s not majorly happy. Now chords can be interpreted opinionated due to the current emotional state of an individual though.

My mistakes were. 9. 13. 15.....

The happy/sad and question/answer ones are a matter of opinion. I could easily tell the difference in harmony and tone between each. I am also not corrupted by being taught to think a certain way about the sounds I hear. A few of the others were a matter of musical taste. If I followed your musical rules I got them all right, but I followed mine and my ideological opinion and musical taste are apparently not the same. For the scales and single notes, there is only one answer. For the rest, it's a matter of personal preference for those not highly influenced by their teachers.

I missed 9, 13, and 15. That was cool, though.

Did get all fifteen in the end although admittedly I may have cheated on the last one. I didn’t look at the answer before picking an answer but I listened to the music a few times so I could pick up the notes which, in order, were C G A D F B E.

I got the first question and answer one wrong but after listening to it again it made more sense why it is the way it is. I think I just didn’t get the principle at first 😂🤷‍♀️ still 14/15! I‘m happy 😁

You can use major and minor to be sad and happy in your music to others. Life’s full of ups and downs. So it’s definitely relatable. I’m not tone deaf 😁

Got 14 out 15 without cheating the system. The qustion I got wrong was number 9 but in the right context I don't think they clash but it depends on what you're going for in your song.

Missed the last one but got all the rest. This was fun.

You still have not enabled anyone to determine if they are tone deaf or not because you have not told us what the criteria/score or which questions determine if one is tone deaf. It is like telling me my body fat % but not telling me what % range is healthy or unhealthy.

I got 11/15 but i don't know anything about music yet & I'm functioning on 4 hours sleep 😅 I got 1-6-11-15 wrong #6 i feel could still be used though? #11 i got it after hearing the explanation & re-listening ( learnt ) Interesting test, I'll run it by my trusted musician friend ❤

Firstly: I can’t believe I wasted my time. By the way, the sequences of the questions are leading to the the answer - even if all the questions weren’t obvious.

I used to be a first clarinet. I always wanted to sing and was discouraged. I wanna get back into music. Ive been on bandlab.

Too easy to predict the answers because the questions follow the same format for the opposite answer, and a 50/50 chance of getting it right anyway. I didn't understand some of the questions but still got them right.

Above average since my ear is bleeding my hearing lowerd down and i cant hear that well but im still above average

15...Above average. Who knew. I am very good at remembering lyrics. People in my life have always said that about me. I also get goosebumps alot when I hear music even if it's not my style of normal listening or even when I'm not really paying attention. I've described it like almost a dog whistle going off for a dog it snaps me to attention and sometimes before I digest it? I'm annoyed by the interruption.
