Ha ha that was funny, its a little weird when you experience it for the first time, im 61 now and flown a lot, it doesn't bother me anymore, but i had one a few years ago where we were about 2 hours into a night flight snd i was settled in watching a film when all of a sudden there was a bang and the plane went into a severe nosedive , and after about 10 secs all the power went off, i can tell you my heart was going ten to the dozen... all of a sudden we started climbing again , all the power came back on and we levelled off, we were then in horrendous turbulence for about an hour or so , not a word from the pilots about what was going on, anyway we made it back in one piece which is all that counts, pretty scary though, its amazing what a plane can withstand

Listen , flight anxieties can happened to anyone at anytime. I have many times flown on airplanes, and just recently , in mid air, i got anxious. And it got worst when I had to go again on returned flight. I can't explained it..

You’re another social media self-diagnosed person with “Phobias” (real ones. Not trans, homo, etc.), GAD, Panic Disorder or whatever is most helpful for your ratios and the algorithms? These disorders are terrible. Stigmas remain more so vs others and ppl doing these types of self-promotion are amongst the latest reasons why people have negative attitudes and a lack of understanding about said issues and why so many ppl are self-diagnosed/use said things for personal gain. Be it for attention or likes, it’s a pretty crap to do! Unlike the other “phobias” and “illnesses/injuries” ppl battling them didn’t & don’t do anything to acquire them. Also, they never want to call attention to the fact they have them or had an episode! I know how fun it is to have a PTSD episode and then make sure as many random people are aware! Nope. Out of all groups, ppl with (real) mental illness and mental health issues are the least likely and last of the groups to receive any… you know what? never mind. P.S. I’m sure you mentioned somewhere already that you did this “to help others…” or something similar

GOSH, I THINK I MAY HAVE BEEN TWO WHEN I WAS ON A PLANE THE FIRST TIME? AND MY FAMILY LANDED IN AN AIRPORT WHERE THERE WAS AN EARTHQUAKE THAT JUST OCCURED. 6.7 ON THE RICHTER SCALE. MOM SAID ALL THE MIRRORS WERE CRACKED AND BROKEN IN THE BATHROOM AND SOME TOILETS WERE AWAY FROM THE WALL. MY DADDY IS AN AIRFORCE RETIREE, A LIFER. HE STAYED LONGER THAN HE NEEDED. I'VE FLOWN IN A MILITARY CARGO PLANE WITH MILITARY TANKS ON IT. FOUR TO BE EXACT. IT WAS A HUGE PLANE. THAT WAS A 21 HOUR FLIGHT. I'VE FLOWN BACKWARDS WITH A WHOLE BUNCH OF YOUNG MILITARY ENLISTED MEN. I'VE FLOWN IN A PARACHUTE PLANE WHERE WE HAD TO PUT SOMETHING LIKE UN-CHEWED BUBBLEGUM IN OUR EARS AND SIT WITH FRIEND'S FURNITURE ALL PACKED UP IN THE MILITARY PLANE AND WE HAD TO SLEEP IN THE PARACHUTE NET SEATS FOR 14 HOURS. PLUS, NUMEROUS COMMERCIAL FLIGHTS. IT'S ALMOST SECOND NATURE TO ME. PLUS, I WAS ON A FLIGHT WHEN WE HIT THE TOP HEIGHT AND SOME MAN SCREAMED AT THE TOP OF HIS LUNGS! I'VE FLOWN IN A TINY PLANE WHERE WE FLEW STRAIGHT UP IN THE AIR AND HIT HORRIBLE TURBULENCE AND THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT'S BEVERAGE CART TIPPED OVER AND EVERYTHING WENT FLYING INCLUDING HIM AND WE FLEW STRAIGHT DOWN FOR LANDING, SAVING 30 MINUTES ON OUR TIME. I'VE ALSO BEEN ON A PLANE WHERE THERE WAS MECHANICAL ISSUES AND THE PILOT WAS COMPLAINING SO MUCH BECAUSE SHE WAS UPSET. ANOTHER PASSENGER MISSED THE FUNERAL OF HIS FATHER. BESIDES THAT HAD HE MADE IT ALL HE HAD WAS THE CLOTHES ON HIS BACK WHICH WAS BEAT UP SHORTS, A HAWAIIAN SHIRT AND A STRAW HAT!😅😊😂. WE WERE ON THE PLANE, OFF THE PLANE, ON THE PLANE OFF THE PLANE AND WE ENDED UP HAVING TO STAY OVERNIGHT. AND RECHECKING IN ALL OVER AGAIN THE NEXT DAY! 😳. PLUS, MY DADDY HAD US FLY STAND BY WHICH MEANT OUR FAMILY SLEPT IN THE AIRPORT AND OFTEN AS A KID ALL OF US DIDN'T GET TO SIT TOGETHER.
