Watch Dogs 2 was amazing largely because of those characters specifically. With legion we got these essentially hollow pawns who we didn’t care about at all. But I very much liked the city and the setting. Although I hate when in games you do different missions in the same place multiple times! Even the story was good in my opinion.

So basically...TLOF 2 is a story of revenge. You killed my loved one, I'll kill you, but that puts my head on the chopping block for killing someone who is also loved.

Killing Kenny is cruel and disrespectful to the only person who acted like a parent to Clementine since Lee passed. Jane is objectively evil, and those temperatures in that car would've killed that baby.

Eh, I always just search “[enter game here] gameplay” and watch the vid for a couple minutes before I purchase a game anyways, so cinematic trailers are fine with me

This is a pretty bad take in my opinion. Cinematic trailers aren’t there to show off fake graphics. More often than not, they’re there to introduce us to the story, characters and can even give is details for lore. Take Elden Ring for example, they just released a cinematic trailer for its dlc which further gave the fan base more things to speculate which also builds hype and interest in the game. Not to mention the trailers are just always fun to watch. Also with all do respect, if you’re actually believing what you see in cinematic trailers thinking it’s gonna be in game, you only have yourself to blame when you get disappointed

Nah. The AC cinematic trailers are a staple of the franchise. They’re essentially short films. Games release gameplay trailers too, I don’t see a problem with an awesome cinematic trailer

i dont mind cinematic game trailers, i do mind them making games more cinematic as a whole. i buy videogames to play a game, i dont buy videogames to watch a 7 hour long movie

I'm against this, cinematic trailers are super awesome, we should get at least a year announcement for games and get at least 2 cinematic trailers and 2 gameplay trailers, plus gameplay trailers can lie about graphics and gameplay, think watchdogs, spiderman, and Assassins creed 3, we can be fooled or something can happy during development at anytime changeing things drastically

So true. Also they’re going to become more and more misleading as games start looking more real. Like just make in engine trailers at least. We don’t need a fake visual representation, especially when most ip’s deliver disappointment more often than not.

I want to play this so bad but I can’t even understand the gameplay to even understand the story I’m so frustrated this is my 4th time resetting i don’t even know the show is better to get the story
