Civil War Brass Band at Fort Taylor [Key West] - February 2022
These videos are taken from the 2022 Civil War Heritage Days Festival at Fort Taylor in Key West. Fort Taylor is a Civil War fort near the southernmost point in the continental United States. The fort was manned during the war and was modified up through WWII.
This band was led by Jeff Stockham and Michael O'Connor and performed arrangements by Jari Villanueva.

The inclusion of "Rock of Ages" is a subtle nod towards Stuart as it was Stuart's favorite hymn. When he was mortally wounded, he requested those with him on his death bed sing this hymn.
