      Unfortunately, it includes 2 parts which were custom sketched and 3d printed, I'm fine sharing those as 3d models, however it might be not something useful outside of my specific case.

    What was the cover you put over the light with the large nut to weigh the light down? I have a project like this and I like that idea.

      The large nut is just that a nut that was large enough to fit around the wire. The Plastic cover was something I quickly sketched and 3d printed inhouse.

      Use it sporadically, mostly to flatten large chunks of wood. Build a larger table for this machine to ride for that purpose.

    Hi man , nice work !!! K saw other video of this project and some use only One SSR and some 2 SSR , can you explain me why didd you use 2 of It ?

      In USA, standard outlet power is 110V, which is low for this application. All the appliances that need to draw more power work on 220V (electric ranges, dryers, heaters, EV charges). US houses are wired for what is widely called split phase 240VAC, on two hot legs (1 & 2) and Neutral at the center tap. The neutral is referenced to earth at the breaker box. For most outlets in the house, either leg 1 or leg 2 is used together with the neutral line to provide 120VAC for most small appliances with a plug-in cord. The two legs appear to be 180 degrees out of phase with each other if looked at simultaneously which provides 240VAC. So you need one SSR for each hot leg. In Europe 220V is on single hot leg and hence you need only 1 SSR.

    Awesome video !! 3 years later and still going strong. I live in the. i looked at comments and you talked about the 200v at each leg and US has 120 at each leg. So using in your calculation 120 sq. is 14400 / 3200w would be 4.5. Resistance I would use would be using would be 4.5 R. How would I figure the length of wire to coil. The only way I think to figure the length is by using wire diameter per length of resistance.

      If memory serves me I figured out length by trial and error using ohmmeter.

    Awesome video! But I’m seem to have some issues having it clamp tightly. What would cause for it to not grip the way I want it to? Is my gap too big where the threads go?

      I can't say for sure why your setup doesn't get the right grip, I don't think gap would matter. Maybe parts are oily? Maybe hole too wide?

    i was thinking a taller design but you’ve proved that doesn’t improve suction performance, but what about dust separation performance? if the inlet is as far from the vacuum port then “it should” not send as much “fine dust” back to the filter, yes ? have you tested this ? what configuration did you end up with ?

      Those are 45-9090 and 45-4545 profiles, got them used on FB marketplace locally for a fraction of the cost.

    thats a pretty nice table. i wish i have the skills or the access to aluminium profiles to mill the xz parts my self. im in the process of printing a new LR2 to see if i can make it work (in some reliable way) tilted at 45/60 degrees now just to see if it can get near what i want in terms of accuracy (im just doing pvc and pdvf panels cuts)

    I have a question about the design. Like the Y axis, it has wheels, when working with hard materials and of considerable thickness, the vibration that is generated does not reduce the precision of the Y axis?

    Great design, but with all that wood, rubber, and 3d printed parts, that must have a ton of deflection. Better stick with very soft wood, foam, or just use that sharpie. Nothing will be accurate with that.

      Red one is KVP ABS Voron Fluorescent Red, black is cheap Microcenter Inland ABS. I think though it's more about printer than filament.
