Living in Australia and lucky to be so close to the sea. I spend much time at the sea it is nice to know how to say it , in Irish☘️:)

Eoin, thanks so much for this! I have just returned from a stay on the Dingle Peninsula. I did find the locals were very receptive to my cupla focal. I appreciate your encouragement to "start where you are." I know I made mistakes, but it just didn't matter. I was understood, and people seemed happy and surprised to hear Irish from a tourist. It was wonderful. Your comment that it is a connection to Irish ancestors resonated with me, as well. I will be going to Ballyferriter for an immersion course, and I see that Slea Head Farm is only a ten minute local bus ride from there. I'm so grateful I found Bitesize Irish! Go raibh míle maith agat! I thoroughly enjoyed this.
