My friend used the Ferber method with her daughter. Took a couple weeks of her screaming her head off and sure it eventually worked, but she is 21 and has suffered from night terrors her whole life. I took a much more gentle approach and while it did take longer, mine are peaceful and solid sleepers. Ages 20, 10 & 7. Viewers please do your own research on the risks and harms on crying it out, for infants. I would also argue that exclusively breastfed babies who are six months old, may NOT be full for an entire 7+ hours.

love It, How you deal with the middle of the night awakings? my baby is 5 months old and all of the sudden she is back with the newborn pattern of awaking every 3-4 hours asking for a feed. She was doing so well before that sleeping solid 7/8 hours with just one feed in a scheduled time. sometimes when I don't breasr feed her she even has a steric crying during 40mins or more, then I need to rock her back to sleep, because in that point she doesn't even want the feed anymore.

Do I implement ferbers method also for middle of the night waking or is it okay to pick him up and put him back to sleep that way(since Ive been doing that till now trying to wean him from 1am feeding) I would appreciate your answer🙏🏽🙏🏽

My son is almost 9 months old and he stands in his crib. When we leave, he stands up right away. We lay him back down but stands up right away again. His naps are worse, he does not go to sleep on his own at all! Stands up in his crib, I'm not sure how to go about it. We tried a security blanket/ stuffed animal but he cries and pushes them away. The only way he sleeps is if he's holding my hand, almost every single time.

WOW WOW WOW, God bless you and thank you for this instructional video. I can't thank you enough for making this video. We have been struggling with our twins over a year plus with their sleep, they were wake up up to 8 times at night and it had started to become frustrating and weighing on everyone due to sleepless nights. Watched your video two weeks ago, tried with the first twin and it worked and by the third night she was sleeping by herself. Tried with the second twin at the beginning of this week 07-03-2022 and she also started sleeping well by the 2nd night. Now they both sleep well and it feels unreal seeing both of them asleep at thesame time in a very long time. Thank you so much, if you have a donation link, I would like to donate for this help.

I have to leave him for 10 minutes interval now hope I can stick to it as it is heartbreaking hearing your baby cry and not picking him up. Hi there ladies!, you are all amazing and keep doing what your doing, just need some advise, we are trying this CIO method, my wifes support is not great she understandably is giving up although this is going to benefit her the most, quick questions, when she has a nap im guessing we should also put her in the crib, but when do we take her out like i dont want to take her out when shes awake and crying as she might think iv cried and they have taken me out, same thing after he nights sleep when is the right time to take her out and most importantly the first night she slept in a seating position where she has been holding the sides and then fell a sleep and she had a stiff neck, this was heartbreaking to see, what are your recommendations on the back of this please thank you so much all any help would be greatly appreciated.

It has been close to 2 weeks since we started. You have to closely watch your baby and see what help him or her sleep. We got lucky when we noticed she liked this particular blanket and we used it to help her put herself to sleep. The morning naps also need to be addressed. It's on the late side but might work well if your baby's taking 3 or 4 naps. My 5.5-month-old recently transitioned to 2 naps and does really well with a 6 PM bedtime but every baby is different. Ways to tell if bedtime is too late: they take a long time (more than 15 minutes) to fall asleep at bedtime; they wake up and cry within an hour of being put down; they wake up frequently at night (more than every 4 hours); they regularly start the day before 6 AM; they wake up crying in the morning (instead of being happy); and if they're super fussy around 4-5 PM.

All the mistakes I did with my firstborn when it comes to sleeping, I fixed with my second born. First one I used to lie down beside her, for the time she fell asleep. She was in our bed for almost 7-8 yrs, refusing to lie in her own bed in her own room If we put her in her bed, after she fell asleep, we woke up in the morning, with her between me and her father. I used this method with my second one. I used the interval 5 min, 7 min, 9 min, 11 min. Set timer on my phone. Didnt go myself or dad and the first one. They had problem with her crying, but I just decided, no one goes in, beside that interval. I went in after those minutes. Didnt pick her up, just talked, and gave her a kissy and went out again. I did this routine for like 3-4 days. After that she fell asleep on her own. Those intervel were the only one I used. After those 3-4 days, she fell asleep in her own bed, in her own room, on her own. I bealive she was around 6 months.
