Not even a wizard could pull off all the dimensional warping this run took. I can't even imagine why the sequence with Epona in the ranch has any connection to the spawn zone inside Hyrule Castle as a child. Truly amazing stuff here.

The steps required to perform all these glitches sound exactly like the kind of bs steps that kids would make uo about how to "get the triforce" and other hoax myths for this game. Imagine going back in time and showing this madness off 😂

that complicated "warp to Hyrule Castle" reminds me of a video i saw some time ago... someone was doing an "any% speedrun" of Majora's Mask. he went through the introductory cycle normally, then he went somewhere outside, i think it was near the Graveyard (which would require glitching through several fences to get to that early), did a bunch of side-hops and backflips and such, then played the Song of time while wearing the Deku Mask... and that somehow warped him DIRECTLY TO THE ENDING CUTSCENE!

I love old games that are so broken you can execute whatever lines of code you want AS THE PLAYER as an amateur coder it makes me feel like God to execute code in any game I make or play. In a way, it's an accurate feeling

Former OoT runner here (might run it again someday but N64 is looking pretty dead now and I only play on N64), the answer is yes. Actually, everything is way easier as Adult Link including tricks most of which aren't doable by Child Link. As for the items you could've skipped them since there's swordless DoT skip, but you may have needed the stick at least, else Hookshot may not equippable

Not watching the video: you can enter every dungeon although jabu is kinda hard to do, and getting the child spirit progressions need a kinda hard hover, ghoma and dodongo arr free, the jabu boss is beatable with equip swap, so the answer dor all dungeons is yes. But you dont need to beat the child dungeons to get to ganon glitchless, if you use glitches you dont even need to beat any dungeons besides spirit and shadow dor lightarrows, unless you just sont care at all and either just wrong warp to post ganondorf and just beat ganon, or start getting funny with srm Ill still watch the video tho btw

so fun fact, i dont know if its a version difference or something in the NSO version, but you did the way harder version of Forest Temple boss skip! you can just line up the hookshot with the doorknob while standing in the corner of the little balcony in front of the door, then shoot the hookshot constantly while backflipping to end up on the other side of the fence. Then, you just gotta walk until you grab the ledge the same way as you did in this. really cool to see this version of it though, is it an older version or am i just not up to date lol

I watch a ton of Zelda 64 content from ZFG, LOTADs, etc. Somehow you always find little tricks here and there that I have never heard of before. I’ve never seen that king zora de-frost trick, or the Zelda’s lullaby WW, or that method for getting past the zoras river waterfall. Your videos are always interesting for that reason.

Question: why did you choose such a complex setup for Forest BK skip? I’m pretty sure you can do a way more lenient setup with a momentum-cancelled backflip with Hookshot to get behind the railing.

I remember clearing the water temple before the fire temple on the original n64 cause I thought it would be fun. Turns out every time Navi had something to say it crashed my game.
