Why is the US banking system so antiquated?
We went to Skye back in May this year the weather lucky for us was great...truly memorable time...
It’s such a magical place.
@livinlikelocals some nice pubs as well just off the the square.
All my friends who live on Skye hate it now -- too crowded. Too many tourists. Too expensive.
How about diesel...useless info
I was in Skye about 3 weeks ago and it was great (albeit abit rainy and very windy). Second time with my family there.... it was great. Purposely stayed at Plockton this time as it was near Skye bridge.
It’s a great spot even with the weather. We’ll have to try out Plockton.
Scone is pronounced ‘Skoon’ ! 👍 😬
Thanks! 😳 Will be pronouncing it properly on the next trip. 👍
Call that bad weather, I've had snow in June. And no midges so, swings and roundabouts.
Yikes! Snow in June? Wow.
It would have been nice to see more of the insides of each location as well as the brew lists and food menu of each location. We need more indepth of each location.
Thanks for the comment. Yes we will try to do more in depth in future videos. That’s a good point.
WTF is the point of this !! You call this an adventure ?? You probably spent more time playing with your little computer editing than you did looking at the land ... Glad you enjoyed the soup ...Go back to Trumpland ya numpties 🏴
Nice Video I'm From Perth and live there still Scone Palace and Scone Village are pronounced Skoon Just so you know
Thanks so much for watching! And thanks for the pronunciation tip, we’ll definitely say it right next time we’re back. (We do hope to go back soon.)
Tor-a-Vague. Isle of Skye such a storied place from what I see/hear and Talisker drams, goodness. I have loved Talisker for many years now. I am surprised to see you doing Scotland for someone who is not a whisky connoisseur. I just subbed to your channel and love what you are doing.
Thanks so much for watching and subscribing! We really love the country and hope to go back soon. And we do love Whisky and are trying to learn as much as we can, but there is a lot to learn!
@@livinlikelocals There is lots to learn about whisky even for those that have been in the space for some time. I have enjoyed scotch for a number of years now and I still learn new things almost every time I have a dram. The good news is the whiskies have become a global craze now. Many new distilleries and their new products to explore. We are living in exciting time and your Livin like locals videos are a treat.
Thank you! Yes there are so many new distilleries and places to explore.
We live on Skye and everything closes in the winter , all these establishments rip off the tourists during the season and then sit counting their money in the winter , we have no normal pubs to go to , every thing is so expensive, not a nice place to live at all .
I'm escorting a group staying at the Atholl in July! Thank you for this video!
I’m so glad you watched! We love Atholl. Have a wonderful trip!
I love the way you take it easy in my homeland, and see it at your leisure just like a local would do .
Thanks. It’s one of our favorite countries. We can’t wait to go back.
Thanks for this, we are going to Scotland and planning on stopping in this town. Can we just walk into the distillery and try a flight at the bar without doing a tour?
Hi, thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed it. Yes, you can just grab a flight at the bar without doing any tour. Sometimes if it’s crowded that’s the way to go.
I like hearing how other countries do normal everyday living.
Yes, definitely. One of our favorite things to do when arriving in a new country is to go grocery shopping for this very reason. It’s fascinating to see the small little differences in food, brands, and shelf placement from back home.
Lovely video, thanks for sharing We love Perthshire 🏴❤️ We were lucky enough to explore Scone Palace in November It's a great walk and views from the dam in Pitlochry Looking forward to your next adventures Morgs Jo and Boo 🐕 ❤
Thanks so much for watching the video! I’m glad you enjoyed it. November is such a wonderful time to be there. Perthshire is such a special place.
@@livinlikelocals it definitely is 🏴❤️
Great to see you & Kathy enjoying yourself.. We love to visit museums too
Thanks! Museums are some of the best parts of traveling.
Good
This is very europocentric. They seem to not have realized that European cities are the most dangerous of all.
Military USO if aplicable
I have a 2nd account with a visa debit to use while on travel. The primary card would stay in hotel safe. So money was separate. Cash was in wallet, and a security belt, and i only carried a max of $100 USD
That is a good idea.
Can you bring motrin/ Tylenol personal medicine in your carry on in all countries you have visited
We’ve brought Tylenol PM and Advil Migraine everywhere and we’ve never had a problem.
Hi. Tell us about your packing strategy on "when to pack" based on your current trip to Asia/Paris? :)
It is the most difficult packing!! We’re packing for 100 degrees hiking weather AND Christmas Market freezing Sweater weather!

I am sure she never messed up your stuff
fun idea!
Thanks for watching! 🎉

It's always a good idea to learn how to drive. If you need the luxury of a car that can drive for you then you probably have no business driving to begin with. Hire a car service to drive you.

Except EVERY country has regional differences in their fast food places. So, while it is best to try the local food, it’s also fun to see how even across the world people are similar, but with a little twist.
That is true.
