I have always the best time when somebody as drummer tries this. Ofc with learning and doing map of it would help. I can play drums but luckily i don't need to do this.

I think that everyone that hears NW has the same reaction as you... I've heard this song hundreds of times and STILL get sweaty palms! I also find my heart racing :D with a huge smile on my face and goosebumps... I am so mad that I only found NW in 2020 - the one good thing that came out of the pandemic lockdown. in fact, the explanation for why he holds the drumsticks with the other side is very simple. when Evgeniy was just learning to play and was a student, he had a shortage of money, when his drumsticks broke, ron could not afford to buy new ones. Therefore, he turned the broken sticks upside down and played. It became a habit and he began to play like that.

Jukka is master,im miss him badly

The change up after the blast beats, Kai plays 3/4 over a 4/4 tempo (really amazing syncopation). His blast beats went over two minutes which is a workout for sure. Now Kai plays and the bass player Jukka play in Nightwish.

I'm a guitarist, but I do appreciate a kick-ass drummer! They dont get enough kudos but they and bass are so essential for the band, they're literally the heartbeat of the band!

In her previous band, ReVamp, Floor not only does the operatic stuff she does the heavy metal growls.

I love Jukka, he was the drummer but he stopped for his health. He has insomnia. He’s a manager for the band now but he will always be a legend.

Arien certainly has some stamina. There was one funny moment during one of the videos I watched, I think it was part of the Retrospect live performance. At the end of one track Simone turned and looked at the drummer and said “I think Arien has a couple of batteries up his arse”
