Influence of Angels is a great Virgo deck because it's guidebook is super comprehensive regarding numerology. I keep the little "minor arcana number meanings" cards on my desk at all times because I agree with the creator's take so much.

Ooh I have the Astro deck and didn’t realize there was a book?! I quite love that deck. It’s been fun to use as spread prompts, or in addition to a reading. Once pulled some cards that prompted me to look up my placements for them and it was crazily related to the card work I was doing. You’re digging into some neat stuff! Have fun. Dark academia decks...I like it!

The books were a super fun addition! I’ve been using the Influence of Angels and Midnight Magic recently too and I find them to be such comforting decks. Totally agree on the goofy angels added in to the minors - they make me laugh. Also love how detailed the guidebook is for such a small one!

I absolutely love Prairie Majesty oracle. It is in my Top Ten MM oracles. The books is incredible. I challenge anyone to read the entry for Prairie Soil and not be completely in love with the deck.

I just finished doing similar patchwork reading with the Prairie Majesty at the center, thanks to your inspiration. It was so much fun. Sometimes I forget to have fun (because Virgo Sun). I was actually able to sneak in a tarot deck into the reading which I haven't found a way to work with (and it worked!). Loads of thanks for this. You are a true inspiration 😊.

You may know stinkbugs as shieldbugs. You definitely have several species in the UK! Beavers are one of my favourites. Totally enjoyed seeing your mind mapping and patchwork spread - what a great idea. 💜I've been hesitant (or let's be real, I've never even considered) combining tarot decks because of the possibility of getting multiple of the same card as you did here. Now I might want to give it a go.

I liked the video, your oracle deck explorations are fun. A £10 deck? Nice. Funny how we see cards differently. I have the tarot de fuego and that 3 of wands, I see 2 of the wands in place of the dudes legs, his method to propel him into action. The apple in his belly as an indication he is hungry, with his finger of the tower? My guy is ready to blow that shit up, for his basic needs to be met. Hunger and lack at the hands of the ruling/dictatorship few is a very good motivator for creative action to a bull 💩 problem. From your intial read, I got: watch for hyper fixation /control issues in the planning in how you take action for your vision. Remember the why, to keep motivated and keep centered. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I had a vampire phase as a teenager. Mine was fueled they the Anne Rice books though, well before Twilight! Tarot of Vampyres is all the Lestat vibes!

At Taylor momsen i had this memory unlocked: a)gossip girl the original run but also b) in 2024 for two weeks I shadowed at kerrang and all of a sudden from my indie / dream pop I got thrown head first into MCR, the pretty reckless, biffy clyro, bring me the horizon all that kind of stuff and honestly? I wasn't an emo teenager but I definitely got to be an emo semi-adult after that 😅

If my trivia brain is serving me, the Wild Unknown came out as early as 2013? Indie, and then 2014 mass market. Okay, I checked and her website says it was originally published in *2012.* Wow. I looooooove the Wildwood, but you have to meet it where it is. Don't try to map what you know about tarot onto it, just let the road rise to meet your foot. Or something.

This is fun! Looking at who we were as teens is such a wild tunnel to travel through. You said "I'm still the same person" which is true but like, almost a reverse vampire transformation 😂 where we are the vamp as a teen and then evolve to the person we are now. Thanks for sharing!

It's interesting me that though we grew up an ocean apart, the cultural references still hit so hard. 😂 I would have LOVED Tarot of Vampyres and Bonefire. Definitely speaks the fantasy me I felt as a teen! Thanks for sharing 😊

I can definitely relate to the description of you as a teen 😂 except I had a flip phone and a CD player because I am ancient! I made the same exact reference to Taylor Momsen when reviewing the Tarot of Vampyres 🤭 so uncanny! The Wild Unknown tarot hurts my eyes so much, a glimpse of it gives me an instant migrane 🤯

This is a really fun idea and video! I'm also almost 30 so those references really hit home for me xD My decks of choice would me the Tarot of the Magical Forest (I did a lot with animals), the Deviant Moon (angsty teen) and Zeke's Arcana (which I don't own, but I dressed like a rainbow basically every day, or full black, those were the 2 options).

I prair Medieval Feather with Prism Oracle - its my strategy for monocoloured decks to kinda colour them with the colour of the picked card. I. really wish it was so massive and I read different than keywords but it is good for people who arent too Marseille oriented and I can ignore them OK....

Uuuuuuugh I want the Reclaim soooo bad because I craaave to use it the same way you do. The artist has posted that she's going to be issuing a new edition of the deck, but given the circumstances of her life I totally understand if she doesn't. However, I am waiting patiently and with much hope. I may try using the Color Vision Oracle that way, like what color is the energy today? Hmmmm. Lovely VR, excellent picks.

That water brush pen is so fascinating! Reminds me of being a kid/preteen when we used to do watercolors in school 😊 It’s really satisfying seeing those “one deck a month - every single day” pages! Definitely filing away that idea for future use.

The more I see the Tarot del Fuego the more I’m tempted to have a copy again 🤔 I wish they had a version with larger cards, seeing how much detail is in each card!
