2 Weeks with Analogue Pocket - Review and Impressions
For a year or two, I had the chapter opening jingle as my windows start up sound. It was super hype lol. I love this game
I first played HL2 on the OG Xbox a lot back in 2007-2009, I played the hell out of it and I can't complain about it's quality and performance
• You Really Had To Be There For Killzone Online On PS2‼️ 😂
And I knew of this game thanks to The Sims 2!
well I dont blame you for missing out those because Sony is not doing anything with the franchise since the PS3 days, also shutdown Evolution studios.
You missed motorstrm because you weren’t interacting with anyone. There’s no way to miss it if you aren’t isolated.
Iv been looking for that hd barney interview clip for so long now pleas tell me what that videos called.
The show was called Electric Playground, the original guy still has a channel that's uploading old episodes too!
I found this game installed in my recently purchased ps3... I clicked "X" and I was blown away
Arctic Edge on PSP is GOATED 🐐🔥
I remember wanting to buy a PS3 just for the Motorstorm series, but i didn't. It all went to the 360 and the Halo 3 Legendary Edition instead.
Man peak 3 has me bad. Am currently playing and am not even using a controller im using touchscreen, which is definitely harder 💀
I'm not proud of this, but holy shit I never noticed Redips was Spider backwards 😆
With the 360 version of Still Alive being taken down at the end of July (along with the rest of the 360 store), good to know these bonus levels will still be playable elsewhere!
My normal motorstorm ps3 copy might have rotted and it is not my Blu ray laser because it can still play Tekken 6 and Naruto ultimate ninja Storm new since 2009...lol
I remember hearing about Motorstorm from Playstation Home when going to the Motorstorm space. Normally, I don't care about racing games, but this one caught my eyes due to the atmosphere and setting, especially in Apocalypse. These nomadic lunatics uses all their resources to go places to race in the most dangerous places. And the fact the make a festival with concerts and stuff like it's sponsored by Red Bull.
Loved PS home!
"the Isa are the good guys and the hellghast are the bad guys and that doesn't really change" Are you sure about that ?
Yeah I meant in the Trilogy specifically but I have heard they expand on it in the handheld games and Shadow Fall, need to check them out sometime
@@thecamobot i think even in 2 you can see how they become what they are Being held back by ISA/Vekta sanctions and their interest in Helghan's oil-i mean pretucite, so while yes the Helghast did the first move, they were being pressured by Vekta for centuries by that point, it was either do that, or go back to the status quo of famine and oppression
@@plaguedoctorjamespainshe6009 Hmm that's fair, I guess I felt like the main plot just made it feel that way
What, what the fuck do you mean by that and why the fuck are you saying that about capcom being responsible for the death of megaman and this franchise is dead, you know I just posted an email to capcom saying, "How could you-etc.?!" In tiktok?!
Warzone mode for KZ2 was my go-to for multiplayer at the time. Probably the only game I played online for a long time, and got me to drop TF2 and HL2:DM which were my mainstays during that era. That said, I remember KZ3 being a disappointment because the multiplayer reminded me more of the COD shooter. If I remember correctly, Resistance also did that, and was seriously disappointing since the co-op and multiplayer deathmatch modes were amazing for that series too before the shift.
3:48 To be fair, load screens being 30 sec or more is nothing unusual. Depending on your hardware, PC games back in the day could take a similar amount of time to load a level :)
If this is a luxury item then so was the OG Gameboy. They’re basically the same price when adjusted for inflation.
Just wanted to leave a comment to say that your videos are pretty great! I like how chill but also pretty in depth they are ^_^ On a more related note I'm hoping that with the recent success of Sony's pc ports they consider putting these games on Steam as I've wanted to check out Killzone 2 for a while but never had a Ps3
I relate to the characters in KZ1 cuz I too functioned better as a meat shield than an actual teammate
From the PS2 to HD remaster they changed how the sniper aims, for the better. The camera used to be static and the aiming reticule would float around until it hits the edge of the screen, like a Wii game. Whereas the HD remaster feels like a modern game sniper sight.
h
I played it until the end + what was it, Blueshift?
You missed out on racing me in Apocalypse.
SSX 3 is my favourite game of all time, but I think it does two things poorly. The first is, as you mentioned, the jank. Some things just don't work well. Be that the ramp physics sometimes getting weird (especially in Gravitude), or the very odd hitboxes with some entities, such as the checkpoint Big Challenges. The second big issue with this game is how it doesn't really explain much of the in-depth mechanics. You said that getting platinum medals are tough, but if you know about monster tricks you can get slopestyle platinums in one jump. Metro City has three teleport booths which make platinum medals trivial, and the race tracks usually have a path which make platinums very easy to achieve, with Grav being the outlier as it's always a challenge. If this game underwent bugfixing (please leave the spin tapping alone tho, EA), added a tutorial, and got very basic modernisation of mechanics, it would be received very well even today. Edit: Also, I'd generally recommend playing on PCSX2 rather than Dolphin if your PC can play it with good framerates. With the Gamecube's missing shoulder button you miss out on an Uber trick, not only lessening the variety, but also it happens to be the shortest duration trick which can be useful if you find yourself needing Super Uber in a jiffy.
why does gordon's model make him look like a redditor

As someone that didn't have a PC that was geared up for gaming at the time, I'll never forget the weekend i rented Half Life 2 for my xbox. It's weird what stays with you, it had a huge impact on me.
Beaucoup de musique que j'écoute aujourd'hui viennent de cette série de jeux (certains artistes je les connaissais avant). J'ai découvert notamment Pendulum et Celldweller par exemple
Brother i love what you did with this! I was literally just reminiscing about this game. One of my favorite childhood games! You did an excellent job with the video 🔥🔥 super excited to check out your other content!
Glad you liked it
Fun fact : the first version i played for half life 2 was the xbox version i didn't care about the framerate or anything i was just wowed by the graphics
100% the same here for me, graphics & physics were great back then as a kid and playing on a console.
@@holymoly4524plus playing on a console with a controller is way more better than playing with a keyboard and a mouse
I played this game heavily back in high school, I even submitted a few records to leaderboards as jasper426. The community around this and Tricky + OnTour is also still pretty big, I was friends with Daggy who basically became the first SSX-centered channel to reach a thousand subs. It's crazy how the pro-snowboarding genre of games still hasn't been topped after SSX 3. I've played the SSX games both before and after 3, and more modern games like Steep and Riders Republic. Nothing even comes close to the feel and aesthetic of SSX 3. Maybe it's nostalgia talking! But I think the customization, track design, "Open world" layout, RPG-style progression, and soundtrack/DJ Atomika just make this the perfect snowboarding game. The only thing I hate about this game are the Xbox controls! Should've kept the button layout the same as PS2.
Motorstorm really had good graphics for PS3. (Still loving the soundtrack, pure trash-rock (and other genres of rock/metal) while u kick people off their bikes or just ram your massive trailer into buggies).
That's a bit confusing cuz pretty much Mega Man X Command Mission is supposed to happen the same time as Mega Man Zero series, cuz I heard they have the same dates, and I thought Command Mission came after Mega Man X8, but its between Mega Man X7 and X8. Cuz I seen other videos reviewing the games and it was established I guess by fans that this game is a alternate timeline to other Mega Man spin-offs. And this is just my speculation but I think your placement is actually correct cuz it does connect to the rest of the Mega Man X Series but fans have different opinions about what's Canon and what's not canon and his information from the past sometime misinformation gets a mixed in there. Pretty much Mega Man X-X7/ X Command Mission/ X8(21XX) Mega Man Zero 1-4(22XX) Mega Man ZX -ZX Advent (2XXX- 27XX) Mega Man Legends 1 and 2(3XXX) I recently played the game again and found out that the master the creator of pretty much everything was in outer space for 3,000 years, so it might be in the I guess 30th century.??? And going by the pattern I'm just going to assume it's through 31XX.
The whole thing is a mess haha I usually assume they're alternate timelines
eye literally played it on that exact tv /
Anyone miss out on "Rumble Racing"? 🏁
I never had a pc as a kid so this is how I would play growing up, I had also played the original Half Life on PS2, I'm getting the craziest backwards Mandela Effect because I completely forgot about the level alterations in Water Hazard. Seeing them gave me the weirdest sense of nostalgia.
I played Half-Life 2 Deathmatch from 2005 to 2020 😅 the custom maps kept the game alive.
8:40 run the video at 0.25 speed. The Curve is to block visibility as you can see the game is streaming in the models quite slowly but still manages to do so.
Quite interesting. Thanks for sharing. And good video overall: nice pacing, good jokes and great insight. A shame it's so long but if it was shorter it wouldn't make much sense. Cheers!
I used to play Arctic Edge a lot, it was super fun
I played the N64 one, which had a story mode, I remember picking the weapon that does the most damage and the triple blink thrusters and just blasting enemies at point blank after faking the out with the first two blinks. I didn't realize there was a sequel, on the Gamecube I played the Zoids game, which was also really underrated
It seems that there is a current trend in the gaming community in which they bought or download old games to play in the current generation of consoles or in PC, like battlefield 2, some Star Wars games, the original Halo 1 and 2, medal of honor: allied assault and so on.
Motor storm was awsome
My first full playthrough of HL2 was on XBOX, I bought the game a couple weeks after it came out and always thought all the hate it got was unfair. I didn't have a PC that could run it at the time, so this port was the only option for me. It was still a blast and the mediocre graphics and frequent loading times didn't take away from how great the game was. I bought a capable PC the following year and haven't played the XBOX version since, but I still feel it was still a solid port and a viable way to enjoy one of the greatest games of all time.
Even Harry Potter isn't magical enough to make a port like this
That fps💀💀💀
My dad had an of Xbox with hl2 already on it. Me and him would always take turns on the game. Sadly the Xbox broke. I was 5 when me and him played.
