I think it would have been more effective to save Dr. Gordon for the very end, as opposed to him making an appearance at the reunion of Jigsaw survivors. His menacing glare and sinister accent made him a suspicious character, takig away from most of the shock value when I saw this in theaters.

I don’t see him as a villain, more of him and john as heroes in this franchise, yes they are not doing good but its for a good purpose.
