These kits are now closer to £40 with yeast and some of them are over £40. I did pick a couple up recently as I wanted to do a brew day on a bank holiday and Dark Rock are exceptionally fast at shipping parcels out for next day delivery. Customer service is also amazing and yes the kits are very good! I just know for sure that I could put them together for far less considering you can get LME for as little as £3.40 / kg. Overall high quality, well made kits and exceptional customer service. Though I wouldn’t buy again simply because I can put the lots together for much cheaper.

Great tip adding the "light malt extract." Will give it a try and report back.

The yeast supplied with that kit is lager yeast. You didn't need to use a different one to ferment at low temperature.

Great video, mate. I love the flavour and aroma of Galaxy but you’re right, it can be temperamental. I’ve never seen it used in a beer with such a high IBU so it was cool to see the result. Cheers!

You should try the new version that came out in November

Top job mate. The beer and recipe reminds me a lot of the commercial Australian beer from Stone and Wood - Pacific Ale. Unfortunately for whatever reason it's hard for me to get hold of some relatively fresh Galaxy hops. Great beer and review. Thanks for sharing. Cheers 🍻

Thanks mate. The Stone and Wood has been on my radar for some time and will get round to brewing it one day. Cheers 🍻

@@G-townbrewerA lot of people think that the commercial S&W isn’t the same since the sale to Lion (Kirin). There’s plenty of recipes floating around if you do decide it give it a go. It’s a real summer beer. Cheers!
