I can’t say exactly in this case. However as long as the plate is large enough to accommodate the wheel stud PCD it will be fine. In this case the model is 5x112. Id go for 125mm to give plenty of area for the method to work. Use some cardboard to make a template up first. Also 8mm plate isn’t essential, 4or 5 would work equally as well i suppose.

Hi thankyou. Yes you have it right, id say. You can use pea shingle around the pipe, but any pebbles would work. If its only foot traffic then you could possibly get away with just soil. The fall should be at least 1/100. For such a small area you may not need 1m3. You should dig a sample pit like on the pavingexpert.co.uk site. If the ground is free draining then then two crates may suffice.

If each stack will take the weight of a person i’d say yes. Bind each section together with wire. Id put a board over top to spread the load and obviously i’d say that would be unsuitable for a vehicle drive. But id say it’d be fine under grass. If you have free draining ground i wouldn’t worry to much about size. Im on a hill though so should ever be a problem with water logged ground. You only want to do it once though so make it right!
