Jet2 offer summer routes to Jersey from Newcastle, Leeds and Nottingham. As for the stadium, I'm just not a football fan in general! 😆 - Tyler

Jet2 is the only UK airline I know that offers IRN BRU as a regular option, I think TUI only offer it solely on flights out of Scotland. Jet2 fly from Jersey to various Northern destinations during the Summer season, usually from May to October! 😄

We did a "West Country Road Trip" in 2021 and made a vlog on that. We are planning a Midlands Road Trip, it was originally due to happen in March 2020, but you can probably guess what happened there. -Tyler

Fair enough, the plane isn't for everyone and neither is the coach. Do you think the trains get an unfair reputation in the UK?

Interesting perspective, my only gripe on the trains is how expensive they can be at peak times for what you get in return, as well as the fact strikes on UK Trains are more common place than on UK Airlines or UK Coaches by comparison. - Tyler

@@southernairs agree regarding strikes but they tend to be announced enough ahead of time for me to work around it. Im starting to use them more for business travel to/from Scotland as often you have to wait til 6pm or later for an EasyJet flight back to Gatwick which is far from ideal if you’ve finished work up there by midday. Far better to get on the train and get some work done rather than waiting around at Glasgow airport for hours. The train is more scenic for me too but then you know from my Dad that we’re more train geeks than av geeks!

Doing the three back to back was a very interesting experience. They all have their ups and downs... Worryingly I am thinking of another trip like this for a sequel! - Tyler

I also noticed that the Norwegian WW2 resistance museum is located in the same general area.

Part of the reason we didn't stay for much longer, it started to rain... but we managed to get a nice selection while we were there 😉 -Matt

Do it! It's such a great spot to see planes take off and land! Some people get there when the first flights are arriving or departing and don't leave until they are done for the day! 😁 -Matt

The early boarding is because I have anxiety, I prefer to make sure I'm on transport as soon as possible 😅 However it was all pretty straight forward, through security, the final ticket check and finally onto the train itself! Yes there were some people we had to wade through but we didn't find it too bad at all :) -Matt

@@southernairs that's interesting to know Matt, I talk about this often with my partner. The boarding process is pretty stressful and I myself often get a fair amount of anxiety. Glad you enjoyed it, such a good trip report

You can do either, but it's best to get your own :) There's a nice handful of them that go around very regularly so the longest you wait for one would be about 7 minutes -Matt

@@southernairs pretty good waiting time, ever considered walking it? Also was it just me or are the side windows not very clear for seeing planes?

On some of them they have a design for advertising I think? The second pod we went on had very clear windows 😊

I did fly on a Boeing 747-200 with British Airways in June 2000, but I was too young to fully remember it... It was probably a similar cabin layout to this Qantas aircraft! I hope if you visit Australia again Steve that you get to visit this museum! 😃 - Tyler

Thanks Steve, it cost me nearly £200 to fly to/from Brisbane to Longreach, cost me £57 to do the Museum with the Airliner Tour & 747 Wing-Walk, and I'm pleased to say it gave me priceless memories for the rest of my life! - Tyler

It was a good ride, though it appears I used the slower train that does all the local stops on this route, there are faster ones that only stop at selected stations.
