18:51 possible the best execution i’ve ever seen on a pass 🔥🔥🔥
Why is LP calling the ring junk jump a simple skill when you throw your head back and they've been saying for years that it's more difficult than the other things now she's saying it's a simple simple skill like a front-flip you know blind Landing is a simple skill what the hell pull your head out of their ass
Thank you for leaving these up. I like to watch them from time to time.
Awesome beautiful
Omg dammmm girl ur so beautiful young ladies
Bross didn’t need a coach who was harsh with her … she was already harsh on herself ! She needed someone who could remind her to cheer up :)
Sadly she ended up peaking a little too early as well. In all honesty I don’t think she’d have made that London team even without the knee injury. Just too much inconsistency.
Alicia wasn't smiling in that picture!
Pretty how where Jordyn is warming up, by shaking her torso, for her routines. A lot of the gymnasts were amusing and talented on one, two, three, or all of their routines whether if they got they got a perfect score or not.
3:41 “before this woman” shows a coaches butt before he eventually moves lol
I like Terry better then al
The campaing better of USA team was in 2011.
I only find 7 and 8 years ago🤠
I always love watching gymnastics. It has a lot of artistic & consintrstion. Never give up & always do your best. I wish that I could do it again.
What happen to liukin. How did he play in all of this back then
Wow China cheating at gymnastics....they are just cheaters all the way around
Given their history, it's weird to see Suzanne gushing praise and congratulations on Sarah in the post-win interview.
Anyone else watching these in quarantine,, no just me ok then 😭😂
Question: there are many greats that won the Olympic all around title; Mary Lou Retton, Carly Patterson, Gabby Douglas.....why does Nastia Liukin have the celebrity red carpet status?? Does she love the fame? I really don’t know what she’s done more special than the others.....every other US champion has gone on to live normal happy lives away from the spotlight....I’m just curious
Jordyn Wieber must have been tired because only did two performances routines instead of four or just preferred doing. I'm fan of Chellsie Memmel competitive gymnastic skills, as well as some of the other gymnasts too; including Jordyn. Even though Chellsie had a few mistakes on her routines.
It's was good to see that Rebecca Bross came back to compete. Especially after her knee injury at day 2 of the 2011 Visa Championships. But only to do two routine, and not all four. It seems if she was unable Vault again since her knee injury, and Floor Exercise too.
zamaripabba. zamarip. zamari. I literally cannot stop laughing
These commentators are annoying af. at 26:29 they talk about Emma Collister having a Kasamatsu vault, and they point out that it's named after a Japanese Gymnast. Elfi asks "Do you think she knows that?" and without missing a beat I think it's Terry that says "Nope". Way to assume. Also the fact that she's doing a vault that is different from most of the other gymnasts would probably make it more likely that she knows who it's names after.
Totally agree, to be a gymnast at that level, you really have to love gymnastics. I’m sure the gymnast did know the history behind that vault, especially as it was not a typical vault to be performing at the time.
God something about the liukins rubs me the wrong way.
57:06 Maloney or Maroney?
1:01:53 is hilarious!!
Man,at 11:40,do I love Jamie Pisani. She is a really nice person and a great gymnast.Jamie is all heart as a competitor.
Burton conners makes mad Kyla wow her floor dance and he didn't say anything, but Jordyn floor dance wow him Kyla dance was good they gave her 14150 that's was low at that time
Love look at theses videos show USA has gotten better and better and better and it will continue ❤❤❤❤❤👑👑👑👑👑🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
It's like the Russians weren't there. The meet were poor old Afan had to play Momma Hen while her friends got to do Euros.
I know this is an old meet and most of the comments are years old but shut up about Alicia! She was NOT a letdown. If she was, she would've fallen off and walked away. Kinda like komova. She fought for the team and herself. I'd much rather have a fighter on my team than one who is successful but balks when the going gets tough. Alicia has her own success and she definitely has my admiration
"All of our teams were over 197" Bitch Arkansas had a 196.3!
I like how in 2008 Rebecca Bross competed as a junior in this same competition, and then in 2010 here she's expected to be the 2012 all-around gold medal olympic champion. And Jordyn Weiber competed here in this competition as a junior then in 2012 she did as well and was expected to be the 2012 all-around gold medal olympic champion. And neither one ended up being the 2012 all-around gold medal olympic champion.
cristi0771 So, what have we learned from this? Ignore the hype. It's a damn shame because the hype likely plays a role in the downfall of at least some of the hyped-up atheletes. I wish NBC would stop picking "IT girls" & let these altheletes perform without added pressure of living up to expectations that are only heightened to pique intresest in a sport that the average American only cares about every four years. It's a bummer.
39 losses in just 10 years?
I love Jordyn Wieber's floor routine. The music, the choreography, the tumbling....so beautiful.
So much fun watching these girls--- future gold medal olympians--- as juniors. Go Team USA
estou plgado no youtube sempre!, Nynnochineider
It's interesting Tim commenting on how the Chinese have a different opinion about the falls, it does seem that way, especially when there have been so many times through the years when they have essentially 'melted down' during competition. Not that they didn't care, but just the way they responded as opposed to say, the Russians, there is definitely a different feel there.
Right, but even in World or Olympic events, they more easily shrug off a fall compared to teams like Russia or the US. That has changed some, especially since the Beijing, there are more emotions coming from the Chinese girls (both good and bad).
I don't see why it's hypocritical, their training centers are sure a different approach, but it's just an observation.
sabrina vega on the beam like romanian style just a bit slow
Gafr
great release combo from Pisani on bars !
Shapiro's pak is glorious
In many ways, Aly's overall form looked better in 2010 than it did in 2012. Her leaps and her bars improved a lot in those two years though. I think she'll be able to clean up most of her little form breaks before 2016. She already has her skills back. Now it's just a matter of cleaning them up. That will be a lot easier to do now that her body is no longer changing. I'm just glad it didn't hold her back too much last quad. So many promising juniors do not transition through the puberty change very well.
I love this. I'm dying to find the 2014 NCAA Super Six & Event Finals.. it's literally nowhere on the internet! *IF ANYONE KNOWS ANYTHING / WHERE I CAN WATCH THE 2014 NCAA SUPER SIX & EVENT FINALS, OR CAN UPLOAD IT SOMEHOW, I'D BE SO GRATEFUL!* :) I can only find the prelim sessions.. thanks again for uploading this, we love it! Keep up the awesome videos!
It's a shame no one took a few minutes to scrub through the video to remove the long stretches of "commercial break" where nothing happens (NBC should do that). Otherwise I'm grateful for this channel in giving us the chance to watch these meets.
i cant believe jordyn retired :(
of course they are more womanly beceause the age average is not 16 anymore, they are in college and are way older than an average eliete gymnast xD
Typically 18 to 22
by the way Amanda Borden and Shannon Miller.... best Gymnasts ever... love them.
the guy that is talking all the time has to shut the F UP he is driving me nuts seriously he jinx every athlete that he says she fell... bla bla then she falls again come on.... for god sake somebody please fire him already.... he´s not helping at all...
I love it ❤️😍
