BITCHIN' bike man! I LOVE the sound of those vintage bikes! My mother-in-law has a 71 Triumph with a 650 that she rides on the road and dirt. Still rides a lot at age 58 and has had the bike since she was 19. It's fast, fun, and LOUD! I've gotten to take it for a few spins as it wasn't my first time riding vintage bikes like that. My dad had a 1970 BSA with a 750 that was similar to control and had roughly the same exhaust. I also learned to ride his bike when I was young and got to use it a lot. His was a little bit louder at full blast but he wasn't an off-road rider plus he sold it because he stopped riding it when he hit his 70s. I would've bought it but when I need my riding fix, which is like twice a year, my mother-in-law lets me borrow her bike because she knows how much I love it and she's cool as hell. Lol most female bikers wouldn't let a man drive their motorcycle but she's more like 'If you're friend or family and can handle it, be my guest. It's too much fun NOT to share!' My wife never learned to drive it but she's ridden on the back with both of us does like to sit on it and rev it up.

I had one of those used to overheat and quit I think it had an oil problem. Let it cool off for 10 minutes and would run fine. Never did figure out the problem was. Only happened occasionally.

Buddy had one of these in about '72 and we all drove the snot out of it, first thing I drove bigger that a mini bike, and frankly I scared myself more than a few times, but holy cow what a fun ride! This vid made an old guy happy :)

Jerry Lee Lewis was a very talented man that destroyed his career through a bad choice in 1960.He reinvented himself as a country and western artist in the 70s & actually got Jimmy Page to play guitar on one of his songs.His Autobiography was amazing.

A big thank you to the person who invented LEDs. It makes old bikes so simple and reliable. I'm just trying to work out how to fit the cordless LED horn I bought online from a gentleman in Nigeria.

We had one for sale in the Kawasaki shop where I turned wrenches. Nobody then would buy it, and I was the only one who would ride it. You haven't lived until you try to kick start a 441 and it back fires bouncing the kick lever up into your calf. I swear my calf muscles are still sore after all these years.

Having been a BSA rider beginning in March '70, and lasting til late in the decade, I could not be more envious. I've been away from the Brit bikes for several decades now but even when carrying on on my Blackbird, I still think of myself as a BSA guy. I could not be more envious.
