I just got a 93 FD R1 and trying to figure out at what temperature the cooling fans kick in? Tried to do the coolant bleed but had to shut off the engine after 20 minutes because the coolant bleeding funel was getting full with coolant and at 204 F temperature the fans were not turn on. Do I need a new thermostat, water pump etc.??

Some people prefer to keep these cars stock, and they are the type of car imo to hold better value when left stock, maybe a couple wee mods but nothing over the top

I was thinking of buying a 2010 FG xr6. It’s got about 159000kms it looks pretty clean. I heard that changing the heat exchanger after 100000km is a way to prevent the milkshake. Is there truth to that? Also, if the car does check out, is it worth getting one at this km range?

Glad you enjoy our EVO9 712 turbocharger. That turbocharger is good for 300-320wKW on E85 however that power level is not recommended on a stock EVO6 bottom end. Your car looks great I have a EVO6 TME RS2. Something else to consider a tubular exhaust manifold would make it even more responsive.

I had the privilege to see your Integra at my boss’s workshop today, think it was for a wheel alignment, good to see something different. Unfortunately, we had to let go off the job, but definitely had a good look up under the hoist & appreciated the work that’s gone into this. But damn those skid plate studs are damn long, almost took out our hoist attachment lift cable 😂

Your Ute sounds pretty awesome but it certainly won't do your engine much good because you haven't got any back pressure especially if you're running high flow Cats. It wouldn't be going as well as it normally would if it was fitted with a proper exhaust system with mufflers boxes. Plus it's an awesome way to get booked or defected lol. I have a BA XR8 ute mk2 as well and it's running Pacemaker extractors and high flow 200 cell cats. 2.5" inch Exhaust into 1 Glass packed muffler box into straight through tailpipe. It's got an amazing sound to it! By running straight through i think the quality of the note isn't as good as running a system with boxes or hotdogs. You might get away with it for a short period of time but eventually they'll Nab ya lol.😅 Great video thanks for sharing Ross.👍😃 Nice ute too!
