The Age of Sigmar scandal gets worse. Games Workshop just killed Warhammer. They just swatted your entire Age of Sigmar collection, made them obsolete! But it's what needs to happen. I figured out a way to stop impulse buying Warhammer. It's called Qustodio >> it's an online software tool for parents to keep kids from visiting 'certain' websites. I use it to lock myself out of any/all Warhammer related webstores,, and a few other websites I impulse buy on. Then I take the login/password info and I keep it at work (10 mile drive from my house). So,, I can't even peruse Warhammer / ebay,, and be tempted to buy 'stuff'. This method has helped my bank account SOO much... I seriously hope other folks find this and it will help them too!!

Thanks for making this! I used to play in tournaments, actually got all the way to nationals a couple of times. The community was so robust; people would do repaints of many of the minatures and put them up as bonus swag in the tournaments. Nice video!

You've earned a subscriber, I rather see BP videos like this! All the mechs, measurements and rolls being portrayed narratively alongside the minis moving, close view to the table and not a single chit chat messing the experience, only improving it.
I must confess I loved the way this Battle Report video is made, it takes a match that's typically one to two hours long and summarizes it. It makes the game look way better, I've seen lengthy BPs. Thank you for the video.
This was a good report! Remember, the High Elf mage can reroll the first failed casting result per round. I'm like 90% sure the high elf mage isn't using the Ruby Ring, which doesn't get this benefit

Loved the battle report! When you run down a fleeing unit, you stop moving when you catch them (you don’t move the full distance that you roll on the pursuit roll)

The have so many conventions like this in the Philippines. This one was Toycon. A mix of tabletop games like Warhammer 40k, Old World, Underworlds were showcased along with Conquest, Star Wars Armada etc. It was June 15-16 just this last week

I enjoy these more and more.
There's a few charges where you say the units failed by 1'' or 2'' and then move them right in front of enemy, but that's not how failed charges work. If you can't make it in, you only move the amount rolled on dice (so the higher of two dice plus any swiftstride), not the whole distance

Whoever counts the most amount of mistakes in this Batrep wins the Steam Tank
1. Pursuing units halt when they reach the fleeing unit. They don’t move the entire amount of inches rolled if they reach the pursued unit 2. When you fail a charge, only move the amount of inches on the dice 3. You cannot counter charge an enemy that over ran an enemy and made contact with your unit 4. Bolt throwers deal 2 wounds on a single shot 5. BSB re rolls break tests 6. Helblaster Volley Gun does AP-1 7. You can’t volley fire after moving 8. Wizards engaged in combat can’t dispel 9. Reavers only have a 6+ armour save 10. If you overrun into a fresh unengaged enemy, you don’t do combat until next turn Can anyone beat it?
Not knowing the Empire or the High Elves army lists (and not knowing specifics on model characteristics or special rules), and only basing myself on what you show in the video (plenty of times I only have a recap and not the number of dice rolled, etc.), here is what I found for general rules : I did not see any panic test or any restrain test. It does not mean they were not made, but remember they exist ! I thus cannot judge if something is *not* done, only if something is done incorrectly. 4:07 Does not count as error, but if 9 was made as casting result, the text is incorrect and you dispel on a 10+ because you need to exceed the casting result (page 110) 4:59 You mean "the high elf turn, round 2" ? A round is composed of the turn of each player (page 115) 6:30 You cannot have a charge reaction to a contact with a pursuit move due to overrun. You only get charge reactions during the "declare charges & charge reactions" subphase of the movement phase (page 120), so no countercharge here 6:57 The knights must maximize models in base to base contact and shall do a small wheel to do so (page 126) 8:03 On a failed charge you only move the distance of the charge roll, here 3" (page 121) - same thing at 11:22 10:10 When a pursuing unit catches the curs, it halts and do not go further (page 157) Thanks for the battle report, it was entertaining to watch !

@@DwainiacWarhammer There are generally 6 rounds in a game. Each round contains a turn for each player. A round and a turn is not the same thing (see page 115). In the video you said "High elf round, turn 2". Saying "High elf round" has no significance. Saying "High elf turn, round 2" would have meant something. I was just picky :)
