I don’t care what they say I’m more comfortable on a heritage. The way you sit down IN the bike rather than ON the bike feels way better to me. I sit on road kings and it feels like sitting on top of a horse. It’s awkward feeling to me. Plus I got my 16 heritage with only 9k miles on it for 11,500 😂. A new one was 25k !

I had 16 inch apes on a 2002 sportster a long time ago. Loved them. But they look taller on the heritage. I been thinking about putting them on my 16 heritage but I’m kinda worried they might be too tall on it. They was about shoulder height on my old sporty when I was a teen.

Was those the narrow ones or wide ones

Where’d you go to get your wiring

I am 6'1'' and have 16 inch apes on a dyna wide glide. They are very comfortable over longer journeys , better than the standard 12 inch.

And apes is the way to go I had the 10 baby apes I put on 12 s now I'm going for 14 s

883, a great bike! I'd need to change the gauges and get a tach and fuel gauge on it! That whimpy 3.3 gal fuel tank would need to increase its size to a 4.5/5 gallon size. The seat and handle-bars need to be replaced without question. Like it tremendously! Doug🏍️👍🤓

I have seen guys with factory bars with numb hands I have a 2015 deluxe with 18 ‘s I love em had a wide glide with 18’s won’t ride with anything else been riding for over 30 years most of my bikes have had apes of one height or the other

I'm 190 cm tall, and they are comfortable me, but don't go to ride aggressively. You can do long distances (700-1000 km) without problems. Before using a beach bars and I prefer apes ...
