Rest In Peace morning routine! If you’re building your biz alongside your day job, you only have a few spare hours each day and getting up earlier and earlier in the morning to work before work just isn't going to work.
In this video, I explain what you need to focus on instead - your after-work routine.
Even if you are feeling drained, exhausted and inhuman after your day job has finished, I’ll show you a tried and tested technique that enables you to find the time and energy to work on your biz after work in a way that feels GOOD and is sustainable for your mental and physical health.
This isn’t about forcing yourself to be disciplined. This is about taking the time to create an invitation to feel good and from there open yourself up to the possibility of being productive and effective.

Corporate lawyer here. Got to 1:44 of this meditation on a Monday at 6pm (I “work” 9-5, allegedly) and then promptly got pulled into a 3 hour fiasco. Returning after all that even more stressed. Devil tempting me with the brutal irony here. Wish me luck yall, hope this works because I am at my wits end.

It's been hard for the past few months to find meaning to my studies. The past few weeks have been spent in my flat just trying to numb my brain with anything to try to forget about the article I have to turn in in a few days. I felt completely helpless and like I could never achieve anything again. Today was kind of the last chance I was going to give to myself to try ANYTHING to get to work. I stumbled on your video as a last resort and this line : "now that you have indulged your mind in doing what IT wants to do, it's time to move on and help it do what YOU want to do." Completely shifted a months-long slump into understanding what was wrong ! I'm not usually one to leave long comments like this but I really wanted to thank you for your words. Even though the thought seems simple, it had never occurred to me that I am not my thoughts, and that maybe they could be wrong about something. THANK YOU for finally making me want to try again !! Crazy to me how such a "simple" video could have that much of an impact on my day. Thank you so much !!

Personally this didn't work at all for me. I was very stressed and overwhelmed from work today and needed to switch off and I felt like all this meditation did was get me to continue thinking of more work to do for another 15 minutes. I wanted to leave work TOTALLY behind and relax, I write to-do lists anyway! I just wanted to calm down and now im just more irritated
THANK YOU! I felt the same way. This "meditation" just made me angry. The patronising tone, then the obvious "write down your thoughts", then five minutes of nothing... I wish I could get that lifetime back!

I'm a medical student and I need to relax after all day of lectures. It's really hard and I'm always exhausted at the end of the day. I often find myself filled with negative energy.

Enjoying the present moment is as important as working to create a different future one. In life you need both. You need to accept and enjoy the now. The now is all we have and all we ever know that we have. A lot of entrepreneurs, myself included become so focused on creating a different now for a future version of ourselves, that we forget to take the time to enjoy this now we have right now. Even if its not exactly the now we ideally want. There is a lot of beauty in this now. Even if it’s not as exciting as chasing or creating a different future now. If you look for it, there is a seed of excitement in just being content. In wanting what you have. In being who you are. In accepting how it is. My dog is the ultimate reminder of this and when I see him chase his frisbee, I am reminded that I can take a break from chasing my dreams and just be.
