Any idea how to fix a loose section of a luxury pen? I got one and when I write I feel my finger tips being pinched slightly whenever I write. The section appears to be perfectly tight when I test but it's when I write that feel that slight shaky movement causing the pinch.

I've used my belt sander to square off all 4 sides. It works well

I did recently purchase the Faith. Love, hope kit in gold from Packard Woodworks. This was before I saw your video. I was very concerned how the one I got would turn out. The great news is the fit and finish of the kit I received was pretty much perfect. I ordered from Packard because they were the only ones that had the gold finish. So either they have gotten much better or they have a good batch. Love your pen videos!!

Just got my knife kits from Bullseye turning. I loved the hand written thank you note and two pieces of Jolly Rancher candy. Shows they care. Can’t wait to turn these. I love the way the blade is tightened from the rear because as I commented earlier that I’m left handed and exacto style knifes loosen up as I use them. Thanks again for this video!

Impressive. I am currently starting to look at making a Celtic Knot pen myself. I was thinking of cutting up a plastic card. I usually take my cans to be recycled but I think I can maybe use a few to make a pen. Thanks.

What is a pen blank?

Well well well I have never used a skew I always use a roughing gouge. I think mine is a bit smaller than yours, which makes it easier to handle. I started with acrylic so far In have not made a wood pen. I have just got my hands on some wood offcuts so I may discover a whole new way of doing things. Have a lovely day.

This question is about turning pens. I am going to be buying a mini wood lathe hopefully tonight I just wanna make sure I know what I’m doing first, but I am not trying to turn just regular pens. I want to make Diamond Painting pens. Do you know anything about that what I need the same Size mandrel and what size should I use and are there any other tools that I will need for the lathe ?

When I lived in UK before we retired to USA, I used to make pens from recycled yogurt cartons..

Maybe some kind of deverter on the inside , to direct the air away from your work pieces.

It looks like when you glued the errant chunk in the first time, you pretty much only put CA on the wood. You didn't actually glue the chunk to the TUBE. I had a mesquite blank blow apart on me last week, so I feel your pain.
