      Hello, You have set the rockarm to the lowest point on the injector that you’re adjusting, after that you screw the injector screw all the way till the injector spring is fully compressed, after that you unscrew the injector screw minus 180°. Do the same procedure on all 4 injectors.

    • @audilover6591
      @audilover6591 Před 5 měsíci

      Thank you, the injectors bolts are stretch bolts so it needs to be tightened in 2 steps, first tighten the bolts to 3nm and then further 270 degrees, in that way the bolts stretches properly. Small advice, each time you removing the injectors do not use the old bolts because they could snap, use always new bolts.

You should disconnect the injector 1 wiring and try to start the car, if starts (engine will work roughly) that means that the faulty injector is the one you unplugged because the engine can start with 3 other cylinders. You have to do the test with all 4 injectors in the same way What you can do is

Inače ti PD motori ne voli gradsku vožnju jer vole počepiti usisnu granu i egr tako da moj je savjet to skinuti i ugasiti softverski jer inače će biti čišćenja kao i u mom slučaju. It feels like I'm feathering the accelerator as if I'm giving gas letting go repeats it's self. Revs don't move so it's not a slipping clutch. Boost pipe under driver side radiator to turbo was leaking so I've replaced that. And I then replaced the clutch and dual mass flywheel too. But issue still remains. It does give abit of black smoke on acceleration not excessive. And abit of white smoke on idle. Bare in mind it's remapped EGR delete and straight piped. Any ideas?

      Hi Aliiswell It’s really hard to tell what could be without being there and test the car. My opinion is that could be some electronic issue like for example (map or maf sensor, injector harness or even the acceleration pedal). With the VCDS you can check all off them and see the readings. Try to remove the map sensor that is situated after the intercooler, sometimes it gets really dirty so doesn’t giving you a good reading

    What symptoms did you have so you decided to change the seals on the nozzles? Can this be checked via VCDS? I have a BMR Passat 125kw PD, end of 2007. The car pulls great, but the first morning ignition is longer (cranks over 6-7x) and if I leave it for 2 days then it is even longer cranking. When I turn it on for the first time, each next starting is fast (1-2x cranking), until 7-8 hours have passed then longer cranking again. Someone tells me it could be the cylinder head, although mine has a C mark. It loses coolant, although my mechanic tells it leaking at the water pump. I'll do a belt replacement, a water pump so we can see if it stops leaking. There is no white smoke while driving, but when I start the car, if cranking longer then 7-8x then there is some white smoke but it disappears immediately. The engine runs quietly, in harmony. No smoke while driving. I changed the battery, repaired the starter, changed the seals and gasket on the tandem pump. Could there be a problem with seals on the nozzles? Hi, thank you. - I was turning the engine on the crankshaft pulley, (need to remove right tyre and remove the plastic around the wheel. - I use the pliers to connect the glow plugs harness. - I think you need a new harness for the injectors because I don’t know if there’s the same connector because the BMN injectors are using piezo coils, I didn’t do that so I don’t know the answer on your question. - You can buy seals and bolts trough the Audi dealer. I bought mine from Autodoc, elring is the manufacturer.

      thanks for the reply -sounds easy enough -iknow i need the bkd plugs but not 100% sure if the harness will fit, -is that a good brand for long use or just a cheaper option? What was the process after tightening the injectors and plugging in the plugs, did you have to turn the crank to a certain point or anything? Was was it turn crank to allow fuel or something then put gasket and rocker on and start it?

      @@itzjordxnhd9850 Elring is really good brand for seals. After I adjusted the injectors to the spec, I turned the crankshaft for 2 full circles to be sure that everything is ok, the I changed the valve cover gasket and tighten the cover. Before the start of the engine I turn the key for few times so the fuel pump can deliver fuel, then I start the engine. The engine will straggle to star because lack of fuel, you can expect a bit of white smoke after first start.

      It can be few things, injectors seals and also the tandem pump. If you have faulty tandem pump sometime the tandem pump seal start to leak and mix the fuel with the engine oil. You can check this with the deep-stick. Also can be dirty injectors. You have the video on my channel how to flush the fuel system with liqui molly

    Hello, I've changed my injectors today with another set of refurbished ones and followed all the steps. Unfortunately I have starting problems now. Tried it for longer than 10 minutes before I quit, because I was afraid of killing my starter. What could be the problem? Air in fuel system? should I try longer ? Thx in advance!! EDIT: Just read the conversation between you and "Louis Cleaver".... I'm sure the injectors were pushed in completely, before I inserted/tightened the screws.

      Hello. Could be air in the fuel system. Also my car had a hard start for the first time after I cleaned injectors. What I did is that I put the ignition ON for 10 times (wait for 5sec between the cycles) without starting the car, I did that just so the fuel pump in the tank can pump the fuel up to the tandem pump to prime it.

      I’ll do this procedure tomorrow. I’ll use regular gasoline as cleaning fluid put in a glass jar. The jar is then submerged in the water bath (tap water). Use no heat. Faster than anything. There are a couple of videos here on CZcams comparing gasoline with a couple of other cleaning solutions. Gasoline clear winner.
