VERY BEAUTIFUL and very nice

Not a good idea because the standard equipment clutch & TA innards is not built heavy enough to hold more than 73 HP. I owned a 1974 706D with the 282 engine. I traded it after putting over 5300 hours on it. The clutch was getting very weak when I traded it for a new 986. The transmission, axles & final drive will handle up to 85 HP.

My uncle had two of them, one had a regular red cab and muffler. The he other one had a white cab and straight pipe. They pulled a 5-20s molboard plow right along.

I put a million miles on a 350 Cummins in a IH cabover , Great engine 👍😃

Not very many 1206s in our area. All 806s. We did have a cousin that did have 1. Good tractor.

Really nice ,very tough tractors ,the clutch, gears ,rear end ,axles etc were very well designed and strong so will handle the extra power from that Cummins ,plus for tractor that was originally about 74 horsepower they were fairly heavy so should work and pull very solid,cheers

The 806 was a break through for farmall. They had stumbled since they had stopped building the M series. What a great tractor. Diesel engine was unstoppable.

My dad loved a 55 Chevy Belair ! I was going to buy him one for retirement at 65, didn't get that chance, sadly he passed away of a sudden heart attack at 64 !😭 love u & miss u dad, and I will see u again one day ! 💔
