The only goat anaglyph I didn't find on my own was the first one shown in this video. I was in that area too while searching for gold coins. But somehow I missed that one. Actually the last goat anaglyph shown in the video was the very first one that I found & I found it on my first playthrough of the PS4 remake. I was on my way to Quadratus (2nd colossus) when I noticed the ledge on my left as I went down the path to the bottom. I knew that ledge wasn't there in the original game, so I explored that area & found the goat.

To me this shows there’s beauty in death , in decay , in tragic .

You need the parachute (Cloth Of Desperation) in order to reach that hole in the castle floor & drop down into that tunnel. You can also glide down to the rocks sticking up out of the water just below the cave Argus comes out of & safely land on them (see video). I'm going to assume all the colossi (except the 16th colossus) will disappear during battle if you venture too far away from them. I've seen this happen with colossus no.2.

you know what the remake also needed, freaking dirt and sand physics, but i don't think the ps4 version could handle that

I didn't know they left behind literal corpses i wasn't good enough to return to any of them after beating them

I wish that the colossi you fight more recently towards the end weren’t as covered with dirt, rocks, and plants to give a more accurate estimation of how much time is passing in between fights

Well i just feel sad to look this, all i know they just giant creature who live they life calm, there is nothing wrong for them to die just because MC want to resurect the girl then he must take their soul for ritual

This gives me the same pang of sadness I get when I see roadkill. You get a glimpse of some living thing that was minding its own business when all of a sudden it's senselessly killed and its corpse is just left there to rot and become one with the earth.

Another remaster and I've still never gotten all the bonus weapons.

This is pretty well known… it’s been the case since PS2’s version.

there's a feeling i can't quite describe about their flesh turning into dirt and sand and their bodies being overtaken by vegetation seeing the remains of corpses of something that looked so mighty, powerful, and dangerous when it was alive, being reduced to earth, bone, and stone, feels like seeing a dead god and adding the fact that the player character goes back to spawn after killing them, and the vegetation they're covered with, implies some time has passed since they were killed, possibly months in some cases their bodies also are hard to distinguish from curious landscape features in the cases where the stone parts don't look clearly manmade they look forgotten i just don't know how it conveys such a complex bundle of feelings, and that's why i keep coming back to this game

Man this video bummed me out.

It never occurred to me to take the Colossi being buried as huge amounts of time passing. I figured it was the land trying to give them a proper burial. Even tho they are trying to kill Wander, they only do so because he attacked them and they need to keep Dormin's soul apart. They're technically the good guys. And in a world of gods, demons, lethal prophesies and regions where nature is both all encompassing and yet minimal, it's not a stretch to think the land itself can have a will.

I used to do this all the time as a kid. See if I could survive falls from places and leave the arena mid-fight to see if the colossus would still chase me around the map 😂

Everybody talking about all the dirt and plants over they, talking about wander being in coma for months, but nobody thought this is only the colossus body without dormin energy?a great part of the colossus have plants and stones in her body, even if they look like hair or something like that

It's kinda sad seeing all of them just as piles of dirt and sand.

With each colossus, Wander kills himself more and more, and of course, Malus is his completed suicide. Dormin gaslit Wander into an identity and bodily suicide which is both genius and cruel. I’m just glad Dormin was killed shortly after.

I think colossi are statues made of earth, plants and rocks animated by the fragment of Dormin's soul. When you absorb the soul, the colossi simply return to earth. That's why they have those platforms for you to climb on, they were used by sculptors to shape the colossi.

How long was he comatose? I admittedly never went back to explore. Also Gaius was always my favorite of the Colossi

Fun fact there's a 2nd ending to this game, and it's a good ending that saves the colossus........... turn the game off and don't play it.

Everyone talks about this incredible game as they should, but it's sad to see that rarely if at all anyone mention the original ICO...

I’ve always been curious how the colossi were made. I understand that part of it is magic of some sort, with the god’s power. But, what about the actual assembly of them? Were they crafted in sort of facility? Where the designers used tools to apply the intricate pattern of the stone each one had on their bodies. Or, were they bred from an ancient form of alchemy? Where they combine both stone and living tissue to create the colossi. And the god’s power was the source of their activation? 🧐🧐🧐

When we were kids playing the game in the PS2 version, my brother used to say that they looked like those worms cuddled up in a bag that later became butterflies. They still do and I love that.

Those dead colossi in the waters must be made of pumice stone if they're still floating like that.
