Short video comparing my 1/4 wave (boomerang) vertical Vs 11m Inverted V
Vertical = Airspy HF+
Inverted V = Icom 7410 = Panadaptor = Airspy R2
Boomerang very short RG213 to 5m active usb cable.
Inverted V is using RG213 and a 1:1 current balun.
been a very poor DX week.

Opengd77: Retevis RT90 v5, without then with click suppression.

Considering we're up to v5 hardware they haven't fixed it yet which really sucks if you use the original f/w thankfully Opengd77 has a f/w fix, the thump is still there mildly but not really noticeable when using the radio.

Cheap hook on fan from Banggood. it does create a good breeze but it has a short cable so i had to extend it. it also vibrates on the ceiling hook making it pretty noisy so using a thick elastic band to dampen it but i need to find a solution more permanent.

This is footage when the dome is on, I think. I believe it's much sharper and brighter when you take the dome off...still great effect though...thanks.
