At 53 years old you just proved to me that I have been doing my entire career wrong. I am the jack of all trades and master of nothing. Mba, Pmp, Csm, Cspo but yet keep getting let go. I really appreciate this info and i will be taking your advice of specialization. 👍🏾

Unfortunately just having a Google cert is not enough because hiring people don’t know how much VALUE it has. Compared to security + (most hyped up useless cert in my opinion) You need to build on your skills wherever job role you pick! And that’s something Google needs to mention because the job market is VERY competitive. Skills pay bills

I’m still in school but I’m in two outside courses to learn the skills to get into an entry level role asap! Is it possible for me to land an entry level job if I have a portfolio of the problems that I’ve solved!

This makes so much sense. I have a lot of work to do on myself, working on my technical skills and working on how to present myself(being an introvert).

Ok I gotta admit, this was a good video. I forced myself to get a Sec+ but although I scored very high. I rather spend more time with the hands on training. My friends and family put high value on certs, dipoloma, degrees etc.. Those are fine but it's been proven to me if you lack the skills needed without a plan. It's game over before you even get started.

I appreciate your effort to help us who are interested in this line of work but you have told us nothing regarding "leveraging our skills to get a job or add value". What I mean is, could you give us a clear example of how to do what you suggest? Thanks for the great content.
