    Do you think your Cummins would fit on the 9000 pound XLT? I have a Megacab that weighs 7800 empty and debating between the two lifts. According to the specs, your lift is only 4" longer but 10" wider.

      @stevenewsam6698 I think the 9000XLT would be fine. The 9000XLT gives the option of moving one runway to outer holes to make it wider. I bought the SS-11000-WD just in case I needed to lift a dually, and the cost was just slightly more.

On them, you never want to use anything that dries because it eventually dries, cracks and ends up trapping more moisture than it prevents, and rots the metal even quicker. Do you not worry about the trapped rust that under the POR15? I bought a ZT! last Fall and before I used it I coated the underside of the deck with a full can Amsoil MPHD and let it dry well before I used it.

      Thanks for your comment. I've used POR 15 for years. "POR-15 works because it chemically bonds to rusted metal and forms a rock- hard, non-porous coating that won't crack, chip, or peel. It keeps moisture away from metal with a coating that is strengthened by continued exposure to moisture". They have much more detail on their website. por15.com/pages/faqs

    Question? have you lifted front axle off the rails using that rolling jack for your 3500 Ram? Jack is 4500max rated and the front axel of a 3500 diesel may exceed that. Anyway I have a SuperDuty F350 and I'm thinking about this setup.

I did lift it in another video. I'm not sure if I filmed the lifting part as it's kind of a 2-hand operation lowering it onto the locks. czcams.com/video/ZD9dkhh5jjQ/video.html

Let me give you some great advice for the next time you want to make a video for your friends, text it to them. Additionally, why did you make the video for friends and family-to hear you drone on for 16 minutes without much substance with regard to how the tool works? And your logic about me preferring a tire shop over doing the work on my own doesn’t make much sense given that I clicked on a video about a DIY TIRE CHANGER. If I were interested in getting the work done at a tire shop, I would be over on Michelin’s or Firestone’s CZcams page. Or, I’d, like, you know, just go to the tire shop. But I came here, to watch a video about a tire changer that I am interested in, and, unlike other pages who understand that people want to see how things work, you decided to offer a bunch of talking, to me, other CZcamsrs, and, oh yea, your friends and family who are none the wiser because of this video. Great job at failing!

    I purchased my ZT1 50" in June of this year. I really enjoy this cub cadet. The only problem I'm having now is that it won't stay running unless I slightly keep the ignition holding once I release it, then it shuts off? I've checked the carburetor, and its clean spark plugs are good. The only thing I'm thinking is that it could be a bad ignition switch?

    • @mickeyj4228
      @mickeyj4228 Před 7 měsíci

      First, Merry Christmas! It is most likely the ignition switch and like everything it appears it's available on Amazon. I guess it could be one of the safety sensors. These can normally be bypassed with a jumper wire. www.amazon.com/CUB-CADET-925-04228-Position-Ignition/dp/B091D7NT36
