It’s been 10 years since I rode, in the past I’ve had four bikes all of them, sport bikes I love going fast on a straight line, but I never was able to learn how to lean into turns I get scared

Absolutely Crazy.
Perhaps can be more appropriate to use SPORT setup for high speed? More stable I guess. I own a Versys 1000 since 2020, 33k km now, and I use SPORT setup for better handling on high speed.

141-2-3 max they're not built to be really fast like an H2R etc they're built to have low-mid range grunt/torque pull. 140 is enough for anybody because unless your on a track anything above on public roads is tantamount to utter stupidity and foolhardy at best 👍😉

I have the 2023 Versys 1000 Se Grand Tour with the Skyhook suspension. Brilliant bike, does everything really well. Won't compete with superbikes, but a fantastic all rounder 👍

Viendo otro videos yo creo que 250 km/h es muy ambicioso. La velocidad máxima es más cercana de 225 - 230 km/h. Saludos

Nice video of a wonderful bike. I've had a 2018 bike from new and I'e done 30,000 miles on it. Endless power is a superb description of it but it's totally manageable and great fun. I'm just about to take delivery of a new 2024 bike. There really is nothing better out there. If anyone reading this has not ridden one then you really should go and try one.
You are absolutely right. The only downside was for me the sitting position. It is to sporty for me.

Was für ein Urteil? Ich bin kein Richter, nur ein Laie, der in seiner Freizeit Motorrad fährt und seine Meinung hier äußert. Wir leben doch in einem freien Land oder nicht.
Man kann keine Traiser 900 mit einer 500 terte vergleichen. Das ist mit Äpfel und Birnen. Bin mal eine 900 hunderte Harley gedrosselt auf A 2. Das ging auch ab , wie Zefphchen.
Ich bin kein professioneller Motorradjournalist. Als Laie darf ich das. Ich darf als Laie vergleichen, was ich will. Und du musst weder das Video anschauen, noch deinen Senf dazu abgeben.

Frustrating to watch. On/Off/On/Off throttle. Smoooooth is the way. I think with more experience you will understand this. Ride safe.

They acussed this bike of not being stable over 160. It felt pretty rock solid when i rode it. Every tall bike is stable ... for a tall bike. But if you start comparing them (even the most prestigious ones, even the most powerful ones) with a GTR or an FJR or an RT then they feel rubish. Every bike serve a purpose. Tall ones easy riding. Short ones fast riding. And that's it.

Amazing shifting. Very professional regarding the ride you did - safe, accurate, economical. I wonder about some comments. These riders do not understand what was your ride about. Where did you learn from the best. Every Ninja 1000sx rider knows that the downshifting is not easy by low rev range. You manage very fast and easily. Nice. And the best engine audio ever by the way...
Thank You very much dear friend. You have nailed it with this comment. I am not racing, just commuting home. And I am just a ordinary guy with ordinary riding skills on a very powerful bike and I don't like to hit the red lines. I have learned to ride on the street not on the racing track.
autobahn type roads are what we should have in Australia not the shitty roads with built in useby dates made by companies who put $$ into politicians pockets....

Why is the TFT display got cut off at 50km? Is it a setting done by you?
It is a built in feature of the bike. If you exceed the speed limit the display gets blurry. ;-)
