As an Asian, I was closely watching how you will cook the rice. Cheers mate you did well đđ
Hi Harry. Gonna do the Tuna Poke tonight. Are you serving the sushi rice warm or cold?
Another amazing video! Do you track what you eat on a tool like Cronometer?
Love the video Harry! Watched it with my wife who's not a cyclist and she enjoyed it too. My only comment is what in the world is Jacob filming this on, a 10 year old iPhone?
If you cut the fat and protein down even more and boost up sugar, white rice and fruit to as much as you care for you will find your WKG and FTP will reach new peaks. Recovery will be unmatched. Red blood cells run on sugar. IYKYK. The fat we eat is the fat we wear. If we get too skinny then yes increase fat and protein to prevent further weight loss.
Worst hunger flat happened on a group ride and my first 100km. Chose a group too fast for me and fell off the back over 5 times, brought a cereal bar and sandwich for fuel. On the way home had to get off my bike and sit in the grass before I fainted. Ofc didnt let on on Strava đ needed that amacx fuel
where do you order the greek olive oil, and do they ship to the states?
Watched this while sat in a Wetherspoons in the uk. You have a pointâŠđ

Love this series so far. Its everything ive been looking for as foodie but new to endurance its really helping me fuel body while keeping my taste buds dancing. Many thanks, keep up the good work.
I guess all my days are high carb days :D
Wish I had this much time to cook đ„
Hunger flat story: I did a 6 hour ride with a long climb finishing at 2020m altitude. On the way back home I felt I got more and more empty but tried to stick in the slipstream of someone to not get even slower. Only 15km from home I almost passed out and quickly stormed a super market appearing next to the road. I ran over to the shelf-grabbed a gatorade and exed it in one go. Then went to oay. Supermarket lady already looking very scared at me. Then my banc card didnât work and I had no cash with me. Lady gave me the drink for free saying âI think you needed itâ
Best bonking story: actually my very forst long bike ride. Did everything wrong u could do wrong that day. Choose the long loop though I knew there would be super bad weather coming up. All I had with me was a small selfmade energy bar. Starting off with a strong tailwind I felt brilliant only to find myself totally empty at the end of the first climb and already drenched by the rain. By the time a thought this is normal and how everyone feelsđ But I was at a point of my loop where turning around and going all the way back would be longer than just finishing the loop. So I kept going trying to escape heavy rainfall and thunderstorms-unsuccessfully. But at least I got used to my legs not really doing anything anymoređ Still such an awesome day-since then Iâm stoked on super long âultraâ bikerides a d I really donât know what that tells about my mental health in generalđ
Love the videos Harry, definitely gained a fan :) Just a question, what's that on your wrist? You seem to be wearing it all the time even with a watch on the other hand. Just a bracelet?
Itâs called a Whoop band :)
4 minutes for a response? I'm slower than pros even on youtube what the hell. Anyway that band seems awesome, thanks mate!
Worst hunger flat story- not sure that's it's really a hunger flat story but definitely about poor nutrition choices. I was preparing for the Otway Odyssey and a friend who raced World Cup biathlon events said he used to boil Coca Cola in hot water, cool it down and put this in his drink bottle. So, instead of using Gatorade, I used the Coca Cola and after a couple of hours started cramping very badly in my quads and calves- worst I've ever had!
Get house shoes that you change when you come into the house!
You should hit up Durianrider
The WT riders I coach for weight loss are doing 150-200g an hour of sugar. More sugar consumed means less fat and protein consumed aka less body weight to lug up any climb or sprint.
Ruined with that oatley shite. But I get why you do use it. Gotta get paid I suppose.
I really enjoy these videos. Thank you for yor effort, and please keep going. But some things you do are so stupid.
Brilliant Harry glad youâve created this series dude awesome mate đ Pete đȘđŽđ»đđ
Right on!
Hi Harry, I am a cyclist myself and was wondering what you eat before a long easy endurance ride? Because I assume that this 5 hour ride that you did where you consumed 100g of carbs an hour wasn't a long easy endurance training. Btw love the series!
Harry, you have to get the oil in there, donât you? đ
Iâm so Fiona have this smoothie later. Need to go dairy free and itâs perfect. Merci. And keep doing as you say not as you do!,,,,,đ
Super impressed by this. Canât wait for the book. Can you do some batch cooking like brekkies or some5ing to eat before the morning ride at 5 am. Ps. Iâve worked in many kitchens and you are good at this as well as cycling đ
Omg cyclists look anorexic đź
Awesome video! Please make your favorite cheat meal.
Everything looks great, but baking soda and baking powder are not the same. You can interchange them in a recipe, but not at a 1:1 ratio.
Do a fasted morning zone 2 ride low carb day, youâll only need 2 meals.
and lose your contract because your FTP goes under 150 lol
Ya been waiting for this series. Awesome stuff
đ€đ€đ€
Love the videos, thank you!
Can you please tell where you get your t-shirts from? The fit on all of them is straight fire!
I would love to know two things: 1) When did you realize you possessed the physical abilities to potentially be a pro cyclist? 2) How did you train when you were younger in order to prepare yourself for going down this path?
"beaten by a man with half a liver" đđđđ
Whatcha wearing on your wrist? Doesn't look like a watch.
Looks like a Whoop (wearable health device)
Gordon Ramsey will subscribe soon
Hope so đ
All the best sir, do well â€đ
â€ïžđ°đȘđđżđŽđ„
Really enjoy these videos, thanks for creating them.
Great video Harry! Keep it up man
Love these videos. I use beer when caramelizing my red onions and often put sour cream in pancake batter to fluff them up. Have you ever tried making kimchi?
Do you think you could make a âprepping the basicsâ video? Just where you prepare everything that forms the basis of each meal sauce/flavour wise? Thanks!
Wetherspoons is the base line for British food đ
I was about to eat shit but got inspired again. I love these vids â€ïž
Bumped into your videographer in Girona yesterday and we both agreed that you should quit cycling while you're still ahead and go full time on the cooking đ. There's definitely room for some more cyclist-owned cafes down here, pal. Also, what happened to your grinder, swear I saw a Eureka Mignon in a previous vid. Lastly, fuck the haters. That's like you commenting on an amateur cyclist's video and telling them they don't know what they're doing. You're giving people lots of ideas for easy, healthy and tasty food. What could be wrong with that? Like I said to your camera op yesterday, keep up the good work. Looking forward to your early retirement.
the clean kitchen amazes me everytime đ
Kudos
More ! â€
You are an amazing cook Harry, hands down. Write a cookbok I think is next đ
mmmm pancakes...
Love the content! And congrats to can eat all that carb! Thatâs my hardest problem with cycling! Eat all the carb I need! :(
