My HZ kit's chime came with elastic/rubber bands around it that aren't shown in your video. Are they functional/needed or a forum of packaging that should be discarded? They aren't mentioned or shown at all in the instructions

This thing is absolutely worthless. If it’s not pointing DIRECTLY at the sun it won’t charge at all.

So I purchase this home security lights with the motion sensor I read some of these comments on here because I was having some of the same issues after doing a lot of researching it come out to be that for it to work right you need to use dimmable lights bulbs . I did this and it took me some time I had some tell me it's the electric wires the switch on the wall even taking the product back to get a refund back just to find out I was getting stuck with it so I did the research . Now it's working I did the settings to very sensitive and on the off position because I didn't wanted from dusk to dawn and the 3rd settings I put it on 5 minutes when something triggers it on and make sure you leave the switch in the house on. I hope this will help anyone else that is having some issues with their product. Thanks

Seeing which wires to hook up would of helped as my light has 2 reds 2 whites 1 black and 1 ground coming out of my unit and all are loose.

Recently spotted locally at a bricks n'mortar retsilyfor a very attractive price point :-) Reviewing one of your online manuals for this product, For bulbs, there is no mention of LEDs. Just tungsten.... ! Only compatible type ? Thanks

Have had a couple of these for many years, but recently noticed that one was not turning on lights properly. It controls the coach lights on either side of our garage doors, and should come on when our son comes home from work at night and parks in the driveway. The testing procedure outlined in the manual says the sensor is OK. I suspect that what is happening is that the daylight sensor is being confused into believing that its not dark. The thing that has changed is that our son just bought a new car with brighter, LED headlghts. He parks with the car aimed toward the house with white siding, and the car is silver. So brighter lights with lots of reflective surfaces means more light bouncing around to confuse the sensor. The solution is probably to change how the sensor is aimed - trial and error!

Where did the two red wires on the transformer connect to before you started on the chime box wires?

They have no technical support at all, besides their toll free number, No tutorials besides very crude and badly made videos on youtube, this company is a failure, this failure of a company.

BUYER BEWARE: Will not connect to the Bluetooth or Wifi, you can connect to it directly as if it were an access point but still nothing, most of their products get scrapped after a few months and are considered unsupported paperweights. No support from Heath Zenith, Your money is down the drain and the product is now E-waste. It will blink ready to connect.... but there will be no way to use it. Because discontinued e-waste... even if you buy a brand new supported product... How long... How long will they support it, two weeks, a few months... a year? I tediously installed this doorbell, the door bell works manually, it recieves power, SO just like me... You could do everything correct but be left helpless because the product just won't work because they killed it off.

It is very easy to install and it works very well, with a clear picture through the app and good in-home use (we added the chime, which is also easy to install and doesn't require another thought to use).

If your light stays on for hours and doesn't turn off by the sensor, make sure that the Dualbrite switch is in the OFF position. My light started to stay on all night after I had an ac technician working outside. I found out that he turned that switch on.

It's been a year since I installed the dual brite sensor on this video and still doesn't work for me. All lights stay on without going off while there's no motion.

My light is supposed to be only two bulbs on until movement then all 4 on. All 4 lights stay on and calling the number on the directions has proven useless.

What if the wire colors don't match.

That is... how far away can you be from the sensor when it will trigger?

Lol unlike everyone else here, I have a problem that these will absolutely never turn off and if they do they come back on immediately. Why don't these things have an On/Off switch. Mine doesn't have a lamp selection. Garbo

After it is all connected, using the regular light switch, how does one change from manual (where the light stays on) to motion sensitive (where it goes on for a time period after being triggered by motion)? I have one of these and the instructions are a bit confusing.
