@Arin Ramirez well, kinda I guess, or at least that they broke up...? someone did a timeline of the events including screenshots of smy's posts, it's completely in chinese though (here: m.douban.com/mip/group/topic/244450387/ ) I didn't read the full thing, but at some point smy complains about yyq "threatening" to "分手" with her (can mean both to part ways or to break up, imo the latter makes much more sense in context) which I guess can be interpreted as a confirmation? I don't know much Chinese, so take it with a grain of salt... I hope that helps

@@failing7884 It could be that YiQi is not lesbian and wanted out of the relationship for some reason. I know many straight girls who been in lesbian relationships, they are usually very on and off and often just a 3-6 months duration of the relationship, which makes sense given that its not their true nature. From what i can see i 40% think YiQi could be lesbian, not based on her boyish style in clothes, and not her attitude (seems girly) but based on how competitive and competent she is in sports and so on. Watch her Weibo wall climbing video, shes strong as a boy but otoh i been with a girl who was stronger than boys (she beat up her other boyfriend and called me to come fetch her at 3 in the night) and almost as thin as YiQi but 100% straight. So its kinda doubtful that YiQi is a real lesbian IMO, at least based only on her boyishness. The other thing we need to understand is that Asian lesbians like to be in relationships with straight girls, YiQi could have dumped MengYao to try to get a straight girlfriend. They consider other lesbians to be "boys at heart" and they obviously do not like boys.

I don't think I completely understand what you're saying but you might be right; I'm not really following either of them, so you probably know more about them than I do lol. I think someone also once said that yyq had a bf for a short time before she joined siba (I mean, being bi is also a possibility) but again that's just what I've read somewhere. We won't know for sure unless they explicitly say so I guess :)
