“Let's go to Bačvice” is the famous anthem of this Split bathing area officially opened in 1919. Bačvice is a natural phenomenon, a sandy beach in the heart of the city, next to the city port, and it can accommodate more than 10,000 bathers.
Bačvice Beach is centrally located and can be reached on foot from most central Split locations. To get here, take a 5-minute walk east from the ferry port or a 15-minute walk east from Diocletian’s Palace.

I like the look of this town, from cabin shops to music (and not overbearing with noise) to the people with their own wears to sell, even the 2 boys selling items and reading at the same time. and it seems fairly clean with no litter, very nice 👍

It is much smaller than the one in Wrocław, but they do look similar, because it is supposed to be a central place in the city. It has been like that for ages.
