Are you using Jonsered chain saws? They look red in your videos, and I know they are popular in Canada in your neck of the woods. In the 80's I used them here in Oregon along with Husky's and Stihl.

Where are all the Maine moose at? Your state has the most moose in the lower 48. My state of Idaho has 2nd most, the most of lower 48 moose.

That doesn’t matter you can tube it we used to patch the sidewalls on the tires with conveyor belt rubber pieces, basketball or bigger, size holes cause my boss was too cheap rubbing to Penney’s together to try an get a buck outta it.won’t even get used ones what a shitshow 😂 I used to deal with

We used to grow our carrots in the ground then when I got my sawmill I made some slab wood raised beds with 50/50 compost /sand makes all the difference in the world for harvest. Just found your channel and love it thanks for the content.

Is the dog a German Shorthaired Pointer or a hound? I like the Timberjack. It was a favored brand in a logging camp I worked at one winter in Northern Ontario. 1980. The other brand used, if I recall was Clarks. I didn't drive them. I was a faller. I thought that the full name for the Angus breed was Aberdeen Angus. You refer to them as two different breeds?

Great video, when i was a kid my step dad was a logger up in Wyoming through out the 90's and early 00's. He had a red timber jack skidder, when i was 9 he (made) me drive that thing a little up a logging road, i was scared to death😅. This vid brought back some great childhood memories. We'd camp out up in the mountains for a month or so at a time for his logging, good times. Most people have never heard of a skidder but its still my favorite and most bad#ss machine of all time.

Nice to see you out DOING SOMETHING. Another Ohio person here. Maine is Beautiful. We use to go up to Cherryfield Me. for Blueberry raking for about 15yrs. Be careful with the logging. A Pennsylvania CZcamsr Logger just recently got seriously injured.

The 8 bolt 30" rims are common, your 12 bolt center can be welded in. I've done that to a number of skidder rims that the studs were run loose and beat the holes out

Not much wood has moved here in northern Vermont ! It's so wet you need an airboat to get it out. When my winch was acting like that, i rebuilt the piston, seals, rod ,and spring ! The spring was worn out not letting it free spool right.

Had a TJack 550 back in the day. Worked alongside of these and the amazing 404's. Good times.

Hey, which Milll do you sell your pulp wood logs to? I spent most of my working career in Fine Paper Distribution and visited S.D. Warren and Frazer Paper in the latte 60s paper mfg is not what it used to be, I'm sure your family knows that all too well.
