Hey you did a great job filming. I just got a 91 SI Tahitian Green 239k clean title cali car rust free for $2000. It is gutted with a black hood, EM1 wheels, & a yonaka exhaust. It came with most the interior I’m just missing the panels under the steering wheel & the spare cover. I liked it gutted but I half azzed the carpet back in lol. I was driving fine for three days, second would grind if I revved high so I double clutched the fourth day I grind going into all gears & I feel the clutch slipping when I’m at the green light. It popped out of fifth gear on the freeway and wouldn’t turn on while rolling I left that mf and came back 30 mins later it was still there thank the Lord. Idk wtf happened some say clutch some say fluid. I had trouble starting since day one might be alternator….. project car man lol

Do you guys think that if Dammar survived the dominaion war that ether Dukkat or Garrak would kill Dammar because of Ziyalas death? Because we know Garrak only fought alongside Dammar because of their mutal goal of a free Cardasia from the dominaion but when that goal was done would Garrak kill Dammar or if Dukkat was in prison or house arrest just muttering himself because of the loss of his daughter and the guards talking about Dammar as the savior of the Cardasians and he thinks of the moment Dammar kills his daughter and snaps and says "im going to kill Dammar"?

This. This is why I was glad Damar bit it in the finale.

Dukat's failure is not having the self awareness to realise everything bad that happens to him is a result of his own ego and evil machinations. Over the course of the show he destroys one by one every tie he has to his humanity (cardassian 'humanity'?) through his own misdeeds until he literally becomes a monster and descends into hell. Pretty great character development.

I love how this arc puts a twist on Sisko reclaiming baseball, the promise he left for Dukat that he would be back. Sisko doesn’t find it neatly placed in his desk, or angrily tossed into a corner. He doesn’t pry it from Dukat’s cold dead fingers, or pummel him then proudly pick it up in triumph. It is given to him, sadly and freely. What could any of it matter to Dukat anymore after losing the daughter he gave up so much for and cherished so dearly?

Damar gets his due from Major Kira, but then kills Ziyal in front of her father. Several levels of subterfuge. Sad and violent as it is, I always liked this sequence. My fave line is Dukat: "I couldn't live with myself if you hated me."

That 8-piece bucket she served him is my FAVORITE ass-whuppin' in the Star Trek Universe! It was enhanced by Dukat's total lack of concern for Dumar and 100% focus on Ziyal. Say what you will about Dukat, but his love for her for 1,000,000% real.

Dukat going nuts after Ziyal was killed is a perfect embodiment of the old saying 'the loss of a child can make worlds burn from a parents grief'. Ziyal was Dukat's chance at a form of redemption. The last shred of goodness existed in Dukat because of her. And the moment she died, all traces of that died in Dukat. All that remained was a husk of a man driven to insanity. Leaving him wide open to be taken over by the Pah Wraiths and became an instrument of destruction.

There were 3 actresses who played the character of ziyal but this was the one i had the crush on

Dukat SNARLING the word "Promenade!" to the turbolift lives rent-free in my head.

Damar would somehow be around both Garak and Dukat in the future and somehow not be torn to shreds.

This was where the last remnants of a good man buried inside Gul Dukat died. I think the loss of the fleet was a massive blow but losing his daughter broke him.

And the real kicker is that Damar really was the golden boy of Cardassian civic virtue here, too. He thought he was doing the right thing by his commanding officer and the cause they both shared, knew the sentence for high treason against Cardassia and that no one was above it, actually thought Dukat would see the action as a dutiful necessity and proceed to evacuate with him... he's almost like the Cardassian equivalent of young Will Riker during the Pegasus mutiny here.

From this point on they did Dukat dirty. They should have given Damar's future role to him. Keep Dukat still as a villainous person that really allied with the Dominion and all of that, but then change that, after Zial is killed by Damar, he returns home with the Dominion still deeply disturbed (he probably would have killed Damar or maybe leave Damar behind to become the PaWraiths emissary instead of Dukat) and he starts to drink more and more as the Dominion keep wanting more, until he finally starts the rebellion (like Damar did in the real series). It would have made those last episodes with Kira and Garak helping the Cardassian resistance even more memorable.

I think Ziyal has the best surprised/shocked look in all of DS9.

Damar and Garak are the 2 best characters in all of Star Trek next to me.

The best thing about Kira beating the tar out of Damar is that he probably could have at least put up a fight if he was expecting it, but he had no idea Kira had hands like that and was dizzy before he even knew what was happening 😂

This was the turning point for Dukat. Everything after this moment was a decent into madness.

If Ziyal brought out Dukat's good side, then sadly her passing apparently destroyed what capacity for goodness there was in Dukat.

I never understood why damar killed her, and why dukat didn't rip his head off afterwards. Very backwards scene. He could have stunned her, they could have carried her home, or left her there, but killing her was totally illogical and gratuitous imo.

I think that's the one time they made me feel bad for Dukat.

Guldukat has to be the worst father in Star Trek (which is saying a lot). Ordering Dumar to win over his daughter. Boy oh boy.

When DS9 was on, it was the best of Star Trek.

Nana Visitor has some great moments where she absolutely nails her performance as Kira. The way she says "no, but I thought about it" is spot on. Its so Kira!

The look he gives Damar when he tries to pull him away, Alaimo does a great job conveying emotion even with all that make up on.

2:27 And then in real life Kira broke her hand on his jaw and then Dumar shattered her skull with one punch. Seriously the fight choreography sucked. Females can't fight males one on one with same tactics. They need to use both hands to block/deflect attacks from a male and use force multiplying weapons to strike a male. Hell even a kick from a female with strong legs barely hurts a male. Before you say alien biology is different it was explained multiple times their biology is almost identical to humans. I would be glad for a non woke bullshit star trek series like DS9 but we will need some real fight choreographers on set for sure.
