I used to be into all this then my friends and brother who were "gangsters" made fun of greasers and they even punked this dude so bad he stopped being a greaser. It was seen as stupid and i admit i was embarrassed. But as i grew older it was on and off for me. Then i met a girl who was a rockabilly and i got back into it harder. Then i stopped again we divorced i tried different looks and life styles but non felt right. Recently i got back into the music and culture and I admit I'm no pro and have no greaser or rockabilly or wtv friends but would love to learn more about this culture and music. I evem started doing my pompodour again. Jeans, j3an jacket, leather jackets and plain black ts. Any advice is greatly appreciated

Greasers wore black pointed toe shoes with steel taps, either wife beater, v-neck, regular white t-shirts, a black wallet witha chain, a comb, keys with dice, a switch blade, black pants (cuffed jeans were early 50's). Shirts were always cuffed. A tattoo, a letterman jacket, and a necklace were ok, but not an ear ring.
